Leorio stopped the car. He opened the door and climbed out. He looked at the preschool. Cute, he thought. This place was definitely for kids. Really young kids. He chuckled. How could Kurapika work in a place like this? It was toxically positive. He walked up to the door and walked in.

Kurapika was sitting on a chair in the center of a carpet. He was smiling and surrounded by kids. "Okay," he said. "Before we leave, let's share something. Any ideas?" At least eight kids raised their hands. Kurapika smiled. "Amaterasu," he said. A little girl with long black hair perked up. "What we wanna be when we're older! I want to be a sun goddess!"

The kids answered getting responses like an astronaut, fireman, doctor, princess/prince, a dragon, and a mom. Kurapika smiled at all the responses. "What about you, Mr. Kurapika," a young boy asked. Kurapika smiled. "Well, I'm already a grown-up," he said. "And I'm perfectly happy with how my life...is." His voice faltered a bit when he looked up, making eye contact with Leorio. He smiled and the kids turned to face Leorio.

Leorio awkwardly smiled. He never liked people staring at him. It didn't matter if they were between the ages 3-5. That actually made it worse. Little kids had much bigger eyes. And they weren't afraid, to tell the truth. If a kid this young called you ugly, you're ugly. But no one called Leorio ugly. They didn't even speak.

Kurapika stood and walked towards him. He planted a kiss on his cheek before turning back to the kids. "Now class," he said. "Does anyone know who this is? Just say it." A girl spoke out, "Mister Leorio." Leorio chuckled. "That's correct," Kurapika responded. "And who is he to me?" "Your husband!" "And is that okay? That two boys love each other and are married?" "Yes!"

Kurapika's face lit up. "Good job," he said. "Everyone gets candy tomorrow!" Leorio smiled. Kurapika looked so happy. He loved kids. And Leorio felt a bit guilty for saying no.
