Morning After

Kurapika woke with Leorio beside him smiling. "Morning, sunshine," he said with a smile. Kurapika smiled back, still tired. "Good morning, Leorio," he said. "Were you watching me sleep?" Leorio chuckled. "Maybe," he responded. "But not in a creepy way. You looked cute." Kurapika rubbed his eyes. "That is a creepy way," he replied. "What time is it?"

Leorio turned around to look at the clock. "Ten forty-three a.m.," he replied, turning to Kurapika. Kurapika frowned. "Shouldn't you be at work," he asked. Leorio chuckled. "No," he replied. "I took the day off." Kurapika pressed his cheek against Leorio's chest. "I thought you were trying to save money," he said. "I'll be fine for a day," he said.

Kurapika smiled. "I'm going to get in the shower," he said. Leorio kissed the top of his head. "Okay," he said. "Do you want to have a lazy day today? Or do want to do something?" Kurapika shrugged as he climbed out of bed, "We'll see how I feel."

Leorio watched Kurapika walk into the bathroom and sighed. He loved him a lot.

Leorio climbed out of bed and slipped on some clothes. Just some sweatpants and a black tank-top. He walked to the kitchen and began to cook breakfast. A few minutes later Kurapika walked into the kitchen. He was wearing his lounge clothes witch, in reality, was just one of Leorio's old shirts. Today it was one of his undershirts.

Kurapika walked up to Leorio. He wrapped his arms around his middle. Leorio laughed. "Are you still tired," he asked. Kurapika nodded. "Yes," he replied. "I'm always tired after we do stuff like that." Leorio ruffle Kurapika's hair. "You act like such a baby sometimes," he said. "You're so cute."

Kurapika looked up at Leorio. "Leorio," he said. "When you went out last night... I feel like the earrings and bear weren't the only things you got." Leorio paused. "No, that's all," he lied. "Most of the stores were already closed." Kurapika frowned. "All right," he replied.

Leorio kissed the top of Kurapika's head. "Breakfast is ready," he said. "Go get Max inside then sit on the couch." Kurapika pulled away. "Can Max have a strip of bacon," he asked. "Or can you put the grease on his food? He's a growing boy." Leorio nodded. "Whatever makes you happy," he said. "Also, are you going to get his ears or tail cut?" Kurapika shook his head, "No way. He looks much cuter with them natural." And with that, he ran down the hall to get the dog inside.

Kurapika sat on the couch next to Leorio. He grabbed his plate and began to eat. When he was hungry he ate fast, and messily. Leorio watched him eat letting out a small chuckle from time to time. It's funny how people change as you get to know them longer.

Once Kurapika was finished eating, Leorio grabbed him. "Leorio," he whined. "Let me go! Stop babying me!" Leorio smiled. "But you're so cute," he replied. "And I love you so much." Kurapika's face turned red and he stopped struggling. "Hmph."

After a couple minutes Kurapika spoke. "Leorio," he said in a soft voice. That was the voice he used when he wanted something. Leorio looked at him. "What is it," he asked. "We're going on a date tonight, correct," Kurapika asked. Leorio raised an eyebrow, "Yes. Why?" "Are you gonna get me an actual gift? Also, where are we going? I need to know so I can get the right clothes." Leorio chuckled again. "It's a surprise," he replied. "Just wear something not too casual and not too formal."

Kurapika frowned at this response and called Max onto the couch. "Can you put on a movie," he asked. Leorio nodded reaching for the remote. He really loved Kurapika. He loved him a lot.

A/N: So, my computer broke. Like the screen is falling off, only the wires are keeping it in tact. So if I stop uploading that might be why. I'll need to get it fixed. However, I'm probably going to do it after Christmas because I want to write a one-shot. And I might have a phone to write on by then. Just thought to let you guys know, in case I ship my computer out early.
