•Neither one of them has healthy coping mechanisms

•Leorio feels really out of place at fancy/expensive places
•They squeeze the other's hand whenever one feels uncomfortable
•Kurapika is a natural blonde but dyes his hair to make it look brighter/golden
•After the massacre Kurapika lived with Sheila (The woman he and Pairo met in the forest) and was sent to school (Credit to PanWussy_4 who is writing a fanfic on this, I would read)
•They both did theater in high school
•(TW: Mentions of suicide. Credit to PanWussy_4 ) Kurapika is the type to let himself waste away while Leorio would just kill himself.
•Leorio has a fear of snakes after the hunter's exam
•Leorio has PTSD from both the hunter's exam and abuse
•Leorio has sold one or more organs for extra money
