Part two to 'Secrets'
TW: food, mentions of starvation, pills, eating disorders (mentions ig)

"Leorio. Leorio, baby. Wake up," Kurapika said. Leorio groaned and turned over on his side. "A few more minutes," he mumbled. Kurapika frowned. "I made breakfast," he said. Leorio slung an arm over his eyes, "Not hungry." Kurapika frowned. "You need to eat," he said. "You're still underweight." Leorio sighed and sat up. "Fine," he said. "Since you care so much." Kurapika's face lit up. "Okay let's go into the living room," he said. "You can watch television while you eat."

Leorio climbed out of bed. Before he could stretch, Kurapika grabbed his wrist and pulled him into the living room. He set Leorio on the couch. "I'll bring your food out," he said. Leorio smiled at him but dropped it when he walked away. He didn't want to eat. He was fine without food for today.

Kurapika walked into the living room with a small plate. "Here you go," he said, setting it down. "Two strips of bacon, eggs, and toast. In small portions." Leorio smiled up at him, "Thank you." He didn't eat a lot, a strip of bacon, two bites of eggs, and one bite of toast. "Finished," he said, pushing the plate towards Kurapika.

Despite the small amount Leorio ate, Kurapika smiled. "I'm proud of you," he said. Leorio let out a deep breath. "What are you going to do with that?" he asked. Kurapika shrugged. "I guess I'll give it to Max," he said walking away.

Kurapiika returned with a glass of water and a container of pills. "Do you need these," he asked shaking the bottle of painkillers. "Give me an honest response, not just one to get the pills." Leorio sighed. "Yes, I do," he replied. "Back pain." Kurapika raised an eyebrow. "Really?" "Yes, Kurapika. I do. And stop treating me like a child."

Kurapika ignored the last comment and handed Leorio two pills. After doing so, Kurapika sat next to him. "Leorio," he said as his boyfriend set down the glass. "You said you haven't been eating because of money. But with the way you've been eating... I think there might be some other reasons."

Leorio glanced at him. "What do you mean," he asked. "I think I'm fine." Kurapika frowned. "Then why won't you eat more?" he asked. Leorio shrugged. "I don't know," he said. "I just don't feel like it." Kurapika's brows furrowed. "That's what I mean," he said. "You don't feel like it. But you're underweight and know it." Leorio sighed. "I don't understand what you mean," he replied. "Because I don't eat... something is wrong? I just don't want to gain weight, it's unhealthy." Kurapika sighed and put his hand on Leorio's. "Leorio," he said. "Listen to yourself, you're so thin and talking about gaining and losing weight. And your skin, it's really dry."

Leorio sighed. "I'm fine," he said. "I'm a doctor, if something was wrong I would know." Kurapika frowned. "How has your sleeping been," he asked. "How strong have you felt? Stomach pains? What about-" "Kurapika," Leorio interrupted. "I'm fine." Kurapika sighed. "You never know," he said. "I just want to make sure." Leorio smiled. "How about this," he said. "When I go to work tomorrow I'll check it out."
