All Lifeguards - Collapsed

Vanessa's POV:

I shouldn't have come into work today as my left ear has been killing me all morning but I pushed through the pain and came into work. I was stationed down at south bondi and was sat in the buggy when I had to go in to resue a boy who is caught in a rip and when I got back to the buggy my ear was killing me so I grabbed some paracetamol that I keep on me at all times just incase that I need to take it but within 40 minutes it didn't help or go away so I decided to get someone to swap with me so I went up to the tower as Joel came down to south bondi. When I got up to the tower I went straight to the med bed and laid down so that I was lying down on my good ear. I heard everyone talking up top where they look out to keep an eye on everyone. I don't think that anyone has realised that I am here on the bed but all of a sudden I hear footsteps coming in my direction but stop just before they reach the bed. I lift my head up from the bed and see Chappo standing at the end of the bed looking at me conserned. "You alright?" he asked

"No my ear is killing me so please leave me alone" I say. Chappo walks away but I hear him tell Hoppo and all of the boys that I am in pain. I also hear a few minutes later that there is a mass rescue and that they need back up so I pull through the pain and run down to help out. We managed to get everyone saved within 5 minutes with the help from the volunteer lifeguards. As I was walking back up to the tower my head started to get dizzy and I was swaying from side to side and then all of a sudden I fell over and hit my head on the sand and the pased out.

Bisho's POV:

I was walking back towardds the tower to help up there when all of a sudden I see Veronica fall over and pass out. I radioed to the boys to tell them that I need help as Veronica has passed out and I need to bring her up to the tower. I see Harries coming over in the black buggy and and hop out and pick her up. I hop into the buggy and drive it up to the tower as Harries carries her up. When I get up the stairs I see her on the medical bed and as I walk in the ambulance turns up to pick her up to take her to the hospital. We tell them that she had a pain in her ear before she passed out so they put her on a stretcher and took her to the hospital.

I will do a part two to this chapter soon and it will explain about why she has ear pain.
