Beardy - Camera Maintenance

Beardy's POV:

I was at work in the tower when someone comes up and tells us that someone has stolen his bag and that the person has been taking other people's bags. I then move over to the camera screen and look around the beach for the person but just as I move the camera around, it stops working so I move the control stick around a bit more but nothing happens and I turn to Joel and say "Can you try to find the guy as the camera has broken and I need to radio to Hoppo." Joel then nods and I pick up my radio and say to Hoppo over the radio "Hey, Hop. We have a slight problem here. The security camera has just broken and we need it to look for someone."

"I'll call someone and see how fast they can get out and I will then get back to you," Hoppo replies. While I am waiting for Hoppo to reply I am looking with Joel for the man and then around 5 minutes later Hoppo says "They said that they couldn't come till tomorrow so it is out of order until tomorrow."

I then had an idea and then said to Hoppo "Wait. I might be able to get someone to come to fix it and be down here in under 2 hours."

"That would be great. Tell me if they said that they can come down today."

"Yeah, ok. Talk to you in a minute." I then put the radio down and then reach over to the phone and type in my girlfriend's phone number and then put the phone to my ear. It rang twice before the phone was picked up.

I then heard her say "Hello, Y/N here. Who are you and what can I do for you?"

"Y/N it is Beardy. I need you to come down to the beach to fix the security camera."

"Yeah, that's fine and when do you want me to come down?"

"Can you be down here within the hour? We have someone that we have to catch but the camera has stopped working."

"Yeah, I can be down soon. Quick question. Have you tried turning it off then back on again?"

"Yes, I have and I have also gone outside to look at it but it is broken."

"Ok. See you in a bit honey."

"See you in a bit," I say to her. I then hang the phone up and tell Hoppo that someone is coming down in a bit to fix the camera.

Y/N's POV:

I got a call from my boyfriend Beardy around 30 minutes ago and I am now nearly at the beach. I had my tools on me so that I could fix the camera and I was now just thinking back to the conversation we had. He didn't call me baby or anything so I am now thinking that he was talking to me on the phone in the tower and there was someone in there with him.

I got to the beach 5 minutes later and I then knock on the back door and around 30 seconds later Beardy opens the door and when he sees me his face lights up and then he pulls me in for a kiss. He then lets me in and then radio's to his boss and says that I am here. He then says that he wants to meet me so when Hoppo comes over he says hi to me and then we spend time talking to each other. I then get on with fixing the camera.

Around an hour later I come back into the tower with my tools and then say "Fixed. You can turn the computer back on now. It should work now." They then turn the computer on and the camera is working again so I then spend a bit longer in the tower as I wanted to talk to my boyfriend.

Thanks for reading this chapter. I can't believe that I started this chapter with someone else's point of view. I know that I have done it before in the chapters that have multiple parts to it but that is different because I have to so I can continue with it but I have managed to start a chapter off with another POV rather than Y/N. Hope you have enjoyed this chapter.
