Jethro - Stranded - short

Y/N's POV:

Earlier today, I decided to to the beach early this morning and when I got there I decided to go and rest on a rock that is normally covered with water when the tide is in. I walked over to the rock and sat on it. I stayed there for a while just looking out to sea. What I didn't realise was that the tide was coming in quickly and I would be stranded there soon.

I don't know what time it is now but all I know is that it has been a few hours since I was started to get hot because the sun was up. I have tried to get the lifeguard's attention multiple times but it has failed every time. I decided to try again because the water was rising fast and I didn't want to get my phone wet. I waved my hands in the air and shouted help to get their attention. After a few minutes, I could see someone entering the water with the rescue board and around a few minutes later he reached me and I was just standing there relieved as there was someone there to rescue me. I hopped onto the board and he then started speaking to me and he said "what are you doing all the way out here?"

"Oh. I was here really early in the morning so I decided to sit on the rock but I didn't realise that the tide was coming in fast so I was just stuck there until you came to rescue me. Thank you."

"Your welcome and I'm Jethro by the way."

"Nice to meet you, Jethro. I'm Y/N," we then start talking on the way back to shore and when we reach the shore we continued to talk as we were in deep conversation. I then had to go home so I left Jethro to go back to work but not before I gave him my number so we could talk more.
