Harries - Bullied - short

Amy's POV:

I didn't know what to do anymore. I was being bullied about my hair and me in general. I have told my teachers about it but they haven't done anything about it and I don't want to worry my dad even more than he is as he worries about me too much and he has a lot going on with his work. I decided that I was going to deal with it myself and just forget about it.

I went to school that day and throughout the day the bullying got worse and worse. I got so bad that I couldn't deal with it anymore. I ran home from school when it finished and when I got inside of my house I opened the door and then slammed it shut and I then ran into my room, slammed my door shut and jumped onto my bed and began to cry. What I didn't realise was that my dad was home and heard the doors being slammed.

I then heard my door opened so I looked up and saw my dad standing in the doorway. He then asked me "Honey. What's wrong?"

"Nothing dad. I'm fine," I said.

"Well, it doesn't look like you are fine. Tell me what is going on."

"Do I have to?"

"Yes, you do. I'm worried about you. You haven't been yourself recently."

"Ok. Alright...I'm...being bullied dad. I didn't want to tell you as you would worry about me even more than you are."

"I only worry about you because you are my child and I care about you. Also, why are they bullying you?"

"They are bullying me about my hair being ginger and just me in general. I can't take it anymore. Please help me."

"Just cal down and I will help you. Firstly, don't listen to them. You are brilliant the way you are and your hair makes up your personality and you are so unique. Secondly, if they do it again. Punch them. I don't care if you get a detention. Just punch them to shut them up. I love you."

"Thanks, Dad and I love you too. I will put that advice to good use."

I then hug him and we stay there for a while as we just want to be in each other's arms and so we can comfort each other.

Thanks for reading this chapter. So to follow up on my last authors note. My mum is fine and she came home at around 3.30 am this morning. There isn't anything that I should have worried about. Also, it is my last day of school tomorrow and I can't wait for the Easter holiday. Hope you enjoyed this chapter.
