Episode Twenty One (Clip Three)

The headlights of Louis' i8 flashed into the night along with the pop ups of Thomas' FC that retraced from the second gen RX-7.

At one side of the road were the spectators of the Drift King along with Hiro, Danny and Asuo. At the other side of the guardrail was The Order of Elements and their loyal fans.

Both group of supporters had the same feeling of nervousness and anticipation on who would win the night's battle.

Something made Louis to glance to his right where Thomas was. The American's pupils was a crimson blue glow.

It shocked Louis a little, but he recovered knowing he is much faster than before.

"Start those engines!" Airi yelled with her left arm raised.

Thomas' Mazda 13B rotary sang furiously as he tapped the gas. Louis clicked 'sports mode' on the i8s mini computer and awoken the hybrid turbos.

"Eyes front, I'm starting the countdown." Airi announced to grab the attention of both racers. "五! Go (five!)" She yelled in Japanese.

"四! Yong!"

"三! San!"

"二! Ni!"

"一! Ichi!"

"GO!!!"

Both tyres of the two cars squealed as it took off instantly, tossing Airi's purple hair as they launched like jet planes.

Louis knew Thomas' strategy was to chase so he pushed in more gas and made the rear tyres wheel of his i8 spin before they regained grip. Now he was going after the FC

"This is it, my rematch with the Drift King!" The hoodie excitingly said as he floored the gas.

Thomas instantly knew Louis intentions of wanting to chase and let him to. The American had came up with a different strategy already.

"I'll show you what I've got Flash." Thomas challenged.

"Be safe Louis-kun." Airi mumbled as she saw his i8 disappear into the distance.

As Louis and Thomas was about to fly into the first corner which was sharp left, they downshifted furiously and powered their cars headfirst into a swift understeer.

"すごい! Sugoi (Amazing!)" Exclaimed a bystander at the first corner. "Their drifting so quickly, it's like their moving in a straight line!" He spoke in Japanese.

"Both legend are going all out with no excuse to slow down!"

"This is definitely a battle worth watching!"

"Perfect entry Louis." Mercy praised the hoodie. "You got this!"

"I'm going to show you how much I've improved over the last days training with Master Takeshi, Thomas!!" Louis exclaimed and powered the gas immediately after the left drift. "WATCH ME KEEP UP WITH YOU ON YOUR IN COURSE!"

A long straight came after that and immediately the i8s powerful 600 horsepower all-wheel drive came to play. Louis was closing the gap with the Drift King.
