Episode Twenty Three (Clip Two)

----('Lonely Night' starts playing)----

Katie instinctively pressed the gas. The FD cut the inside, the blue RX-7  zooming in and overtaking the understeering Lan-Evo.

"The tyres!!" Kazuo yelled in frustration. "I must have used too much tyre pressure with those drifts!"

The light blue hair grind. "He fell for it."

"I purposely kept in front of him during the first run so I could put mental pressure on him by driving at only my 50%. When it did outraged him, I managed to successfully made him lose mind and his driving more reckless into the corners."

"And now he has no tyre pressure left!"

Both cars exited the hairpin at full speed, Kazuo furiously punched the gas, keeping up with the FD and trying to overtake.

"She tricked me into making me think she was only going at a 50%," He thought with grinding teeth. "But I won't lose!! The Lan-Evo never loses in acceleration!!"

The Lan-Evo was surprisingly fast after the corner and was catching up to Katie.

They parallel drifted into another corner. Kazuo had a little difficulties but he managed to control his Evo and was closing in on Katie.

"He must be really pissed." Katie observed the AWD monster behind her.

The monstrous 4G63 roared as it was now door to door with the FD3S.  The crazy Kazuo pushing his Lan-Evo 6 to it's limits! The white beast was now going at 280km/h at redline!!!

Then a tight right S-hairpin was coming up, both cars losing ground fast!

"Damn it!!!" Kazuo cursed as he pulled back by stomping the brakes to slow down before the corner.

He thought he was going into a intense braking battle with the FD.

But........

........The RX-7 continued to accelerate into the corner at full speed!!

"SHE'S CRAZY!!!" The Lan-Evo driver yelled at the top of his lungs.

The FD finally showed its brake lights into the corner. Katie downshifted and counter steered into the hairpin.

The FD went sideways showing little signs of stopping as it headed towards the guardrail.

"All these years I've met you Candy."

Katie turned the steering to it's max she saw the guardrail coming in.

"There wasn't a day I wouldn't be bored of driving in you."

The FD was now almost so close into bumping into the metal railing.

"You were like the bestest friend to me Candy, always there at my races!!"

"Like a true partner!!!"

"TURN CANDY! GO!!!"

(Chorus cues in)

*EEEEEEEE!!!*

The FD barely tapped the guardrail by an inch as the FD speeds away.

In show motion, the RX-7 corners the hairpin gracefully. Tyre smoke emitting from the rear tyres as the silver rims of the wheels spin into a blur.

Katie then pulls the E-brakes and transitions into next hairpin after that. The FD perfectly inertia drifting past the S-curve and gaining a massive lead of five seconds!

Kazuo widens his eyes at seeing the FD exit the corner with a blue aura behind it.

He then desperately tried to follow the FD but it was fading fast before disappearing into the next corner immediately.

"NOOOOOOO!!!" He yelled into the night.

(Music fades)
