(Later......)

Katie drove back uphill to the summit after the race. There was not a person in sight except JL who was leaning against his modified bayside blue R34 Skyline, sipping another Coke.

The light blue hair slowed and parked next to JL. "What a surprise, you're the only one here?" She asked cheerfully as soon as she got out of her FD.

"They all left, though I'm not surprise when they got in their Evos with scowned faces." JL then got up and walked to Katie.

"I'm glad for you," He continued explaining. "The fact that you can now make up winning strategies in your mind and apply that into your race is astonishing. I must say you might could even be at my level now."

"Thank you." The light blue hair girl turned red a little.

"That means your training is over."

"What?!" Katie was caught by surprise. "My training is over?" She repeated.

"Yeah! And you know what that means? I don't have to come here every Saturday night anymore!! I'm free!!!" The dark blue hair celebrated in happiness.

But somehow that sentence kinda sadden Katie. She wasn't sure why. She was now faster, smarter and could win more races than before JL's training.

But that also meant she wouldn't be able see JL as often anymore.

"Hey JL."

"Huh?" The blue hair teen turned back and saw Katie staring on the floor.

"Oh my God, This is stupid so stupid!"

"What is it?" JL got curious.

"But it'll be the only chance to make things right between us!"

"Here it goes!"

The light blue haired girl then slapped both her arms on her side and bowed towards JL almost 90 degrees.

"Can I invite you for dinner tomorrow?!!" Katie blurted out immediately. Her mind totally scolding her right now but she had to get that out.

JL stood his ground a little shocked by the blue haired girl's actions. He then started to laugh a little.

"JL??" Katie was dumbfounded.

"I don't think it was really hard to invite me for dinner." He said. "But sure, if it's a celebration for your end of your training," He then got closer to her.

"I wouldn't refuse." He assured.

Rarely, Katie broke a smile towards JL. "Great, then I'll meet you tomorrow at 7pm!"

Katie: "We'll use your car!"

JL: "What?! You know gas in Malaysia these days are pricy! Why not use yours?"

Katie: "Cause I rather waste your car's petrol than mine." *sticks her tougue out at JL*

JL: "Oh fine!" *rolls his eyeballs*

The two looked at each other for that brief moment a laughed into the night.

The tick tock-ing noises of wall clocks of the world filled the entire space of the Malaysian Elemental Drifters headquarters.

The team sat around the place chilling in silence.

Marcus was sitting on bean bag dosing off and snoring heavily while Rhys had his eyes glued on his phone with his earphones on, watching a comedian video that made him chuckle quietly.
