Meanwhile, Joan had had enough hearing of the current Ladybug holder's insolence.

'End of reunion!' she said again.

'Well, maybe one of your partners will be more helpful!' Marinette replies as she heads towards where they saw the painting of the rabbit miraculous holder.

Joan groans. 'Bother not. You may contact only the memories of those who have carried the same Miraculous as yours.'

'Not to break up this reunion, but I had better make tracks' Luka said as he went up to Mari, caressing her face as she smiled.

"That's okay, go' she replied. 'You don't want to be late for your first shift.'

'Thanks angel. Good luck!' Luka replied as he kissed her forehead and headed for the exit.

Joan smiles at their exchange.

After Luka had left, the room where Marinette, Joan and Tikki are is affected by the Pharaoh superpower. It spreads outside of the Louvre too, creating a giant, golden pyramid trapping most of Paris in it.

The Book of Truth appears. "Ladybug, Cat Noir, come face the truth if you dare!"

'In the name of the law, I order you to open up!' Officer Roger calls from outside with his megaphone.

The Book of Truth asks him: "Question. What colour was Henry IV's white horse?"

The book's pages start flipping, each with an hourglass drawn on it, indicating a timer counting down.

Roger is confused. 'Huh? Henry in the fourth precinct? But Hank doesn't ride horses, he plays pétanque. Oh wait, his daughter does ride a pony, I think...'

Adrien hides inside his car to transform.

'What colour was Henry IV's white horse? Well, white, duh!' Plagg says.

Adrien sighs. 'If you rode horses, you'd know it's a trap. Claws out!' He transforms into Cat Noir.

As there was nobody else in the room, Marinette took her chance. 'Time to transform! Tikki, spots on!' she says, transforming into Ladybug.

Ladybug runs, but then notices Joan of Arc looking at her. 'Huh? What are you still doing here?' she asks her, confused.

'Well, what do you think, poppet? You never ended the reunion!' Joan replies.

In the Louvre Egyptian gallery, Alim tries to enter, but finds a blockade at the entrance.

'Jalil! What's going on? Open the door!' he demands.

The Book of Truth asks of him: "Question. What is your son's name?"

'Well, uh... Jalil?' Alim answers.

'Book of Truth, is it true or false?' Pharaoh asks.

The Book of Truth replies: "False!"

The book shoots Alim with a light beam. He then appears on one of its pages, trapped.

'I... I don't understand!' Alim says.

Pharaoh grins. 'I'm not Jalil anymore, I'm Pharaoh! Ladybug claims to have sent Alix into the time continuum for safety. You'll see, dad, as soon as she or Cat Noir doesn't have the answer, they'll use Alix to go to the right era and bring them the answer. And this will prove me right - Ladybug is a selfish liar!'

Meanwhile, Luka hadn't managed to get out of the building before the exits were blocked by the Book of Truth.

The Book of Truth asks him: "Question. Which classical music composer was deaf?"

Luka smiled, recalling the answer from his music history class last year.

'Ludwig van Beethoven' he answered.

Pharaoh asks: "Book of Truth, is it true or false?"

Book of Truth: "True! The truth always prevails!"

The blockade disappears and Luka is able to exit the Louvre to get to his shift.

Pharaoh snarled. 'Lucky guess kid! But lucky for you, you're not the one I'm after!'

Meanwhile, Roger is still struggling to answer the Book of Truth's question.

He ponders. 'The colour of Henry IV's white horse? Well, off the top of my mind, brow—'

The Book of Truth replies: "Too late!"

The book traps Roger in its pages. Cat Noir arrives and faces the book.

The Book of Truth asks him: "Question. What colour was Henry IV's white horse?"

Cat Noir smiles. 'Gray! Most horses that look white are actually gray. Their dark coat loses pigmentation over time. There are some pure white horses, but they were the result of crossbreeding techniques that didn't exist during the time of Henry IV.'

Pharaoh asks: "Book of Truth, is it true or false?"

Book of Truth: "True!"

Pharaoh: "Grr... no!"

Book of Truth: "The truth always prevails!"

The book disappears and, with it, the barrier blocking the entrance of the Louvre.

'Thank you, Cat Noir!' some previously trapped civilians said as they smiled gratefully.

Ladybug throws her yo-yo at a blockade inside the museum, but it bounces back and hits her in the head. 'Ow!' she exclaimed.

Joan shakes her head. 'So incompetent...'

Book of Truth: "Question. Who was King of France on March 15, 1423?"

Ladybug ponders. 'Hmm, I'm not sure. Oh well, I can just look it up online.'

Ladybug opens her yo-yo's internet search feature.

Joan gasps. 'What have you done to your weapon?'

Ladybug groans. 'Darn, no signal. This is something only Bunnyx would know...' Then she gasps. 'Bunnyx or someone who might've lived during that time!' she says as she turns to Joan and smiles.

Joan grins. 'Mayhap, I might have been a young maiden in the age.'

'So, who was the king of France on March 15, 1423? Please, Joan!' Ladybug asks her.

Joan clears her throat. 'Hark to a simple forsooth. Following the Treaty of Troyes of 1420s, signed between the regent Isabeau of Bavaria, Queen of France, and King Henry V of England, the letter tied the...' Ladybug sighs as she continues. 'With Catherine of Valois, daughter of Charles VI, who had gone completely mad. Alas, at which hour his father-in-law died, the crown and the Kingdom of France should have fallen upon him, making him the King of England and France. Except, by a twist of fate, Charles VI and Henry V passed away almost at the same time. Henry V's younger brother thus became Regent of France during the minority of his nephew Henry VI, who was only 9 months old. While at the same time, the Dauphin Charles proclaimed himself King of France under the name Charles VII, and in faith, was finally crowned in 1429, grant you mercy to me! But in 1431—'

Ladybug had had enough. 'We don't care about 1431! Who was king in 1423? Please, Joan!'

'Well... no one' Joan replied.

'Thank you!' Ladybug says as she turns to the Book of Truth. 'No one was yet officially recognized as King of France on March 15, 1423.'

Pharaoh asks: "Book of Truth, is it true or false?"

The Book of Truth responds: "True!"

Pharaoh growls. 'Missed again... how did they do it?'

Book of Truth: "The truth always prevails!"

The barrier disappears and Ladybug moves into the next room and sees Cat Noir up ahead.
