TRAVELLING THROUGH SPACE TIME
Cat Noir takes the rabbit miraculous off Bunnyx who detransforms into adult Alix, but she remains frozen.
‘Here LB!’ Cat Noir says, holding out the rabbit miraculous. ‘Only the bearer of the rabbit miraculous can open a portal in time!’
Ladybug looks at Cat Noir and smiles as she closes his hand. ‘You do it, Kitty!’
Cat Noir gasps. ‘You mean, you want me to control time?’
‘Yes, it’s you and me, remember?’ Ladybug smiled as Cat Noir smiles and nods determinedly.
‘Plagg, Fluff, unify!’ Cat Noir says as he transforms into Rabbit Noir.
He finds Monarch trying to sneak up on him at the time when Cat Noir was trapped in the Louvre Museum when they were fighting Riposte.
Rabbit Noir gasped. ‘That coward! He’s trying to surprise us!’
Monarch was feeling exhausted. ‘Why is this happening to me?’ he says as he gets closer and closer to Cat Noir.
Ladybug and Rabbit Noir appear and trip him up.
‘Burrow!’ Monarch says as he falls through the floor.
‘Hurry! While the portal is open!’ Ladybug cries as they follow him.
‘How come you haven’t had any warning to detransform yet since you’ve already used your power?’ Ladybug asked Rabbit Noir.
‘Have I used it or will I use it? It seems this particular miraculous isn’t affected by time!’ Rabbit Noir smiles.
‘That’s impressive!’ Ladybug replies.
Then she gasps as she spots Monarch. ‘He went in there! He’s going to catch them, I mean, us, in the sewers!’
‘I know a short cut!’ Rabbit Noir replies. ‘Now he’s the one who’s going to be surprised!’
Monarch sneaks up on Ladybug and Cat Noir about to detransform to refuel their Kwamis. He is still struggling a bit with his exhaustion and dizziness.
Rabbit Noir and Ladybug surprise him from above and push him into another burrow. Suddenly they are falling from the Eiffel Tower.
‘Who’s after who now?’ Rabbit Noir cries out.
‘What do you think?’ Monarch growls in reply. ‘Burrow!’ Monarch says as he dives into another time portal.
‘Let’s go!’ Ladybug says as they follow him inside.
They end up in the empty panther enclosure where Alya and Nino were trapped together when Animan was on the loose.
They keep falling into another portal and land on the Jardins du Trocadero rooftop where they were patrolling earlier.
‘He’s exhausted!’ Rabbit Noir observed.
‘It’s our chance!’ Ladybug exclaimed. ‘We have to recover the rabbit miraculous!’
They follow Monarch into another time portal.
‘What time am I in now?’ Monarch asks himself.
‘Hey, you lost Mothrabonfoxturtlebee?’ Rabbit Noir asks him. ‘Guess what else you lost?’
‘It’s over! Hand over the miraculous!’ Ladybug says, holding out her hand.
Monarch groans. ‘Nooroo, Trixx, Pollen, Wayzz, Fluff, Lonng, Barkk, fusion! Argh!’ He gets Barkk’s ball to touch the rabbit miraculous.
‘There! Now even if you take it back, I will always find it! Ugh!’ he says, collapsing in pain and exhaustion.
‘Don’t you know how dangerous it is to use several Kwami powers at the same time?’ Ladybug exclaims.
Monarch cries out in pain again as he collapses face down on the ground and remains still, barely able to move.
‘Did we... defeat him?’ Rabbit Noir asks, prodding him with his staff.
‘It... seems so...’ Ladybug replies as she opens his hand and takes back the rabbit miraculous.
Suddenly, they hear voices and red search lights appear all around them.
‘The box, we need the box!’ the voices call out as Ladybug gasps.
‘Master Fu?’ Ladybug says in awe as she sees a young Master Fu and Marianne across the street with the red search lights shining on them.
Monarch groans. ‘Trixx, Pollen, Lonng, divide!’ he says as he slowly gets some strength back.
He takes out the ball of the dog miraculous. ‘Fetch!’
The rabbit miraculous disappears from Ladybug’s hand and Monarch has it once again.
‘No!’ Ladybug says.
‘Shell-ter!’ Monarch says, once again shielding himself.
‘Use your power!’ Ladybug asks Rabbit Noir.
‘But I already used my cataclysm!’ Rabbit Noir replied as they both groan slightly.
‘Nooroo, Barkk, Wayzz, Fluff, unify! Burrow!’ Monarch begins to sink down through a time portal. ‘You will never get the miraculous!’ he chuckles evilly.
Ladybug and Rabbit Noir follow him, but the portal closed before they could get to it.
‘No!’ Ladybug cries. ‘Now that Monarch has used the dog ball on the rabbit miraculous, he’s created a magical connection between the two. Even if we recover it he will still be able to take it back!’
‘But at some point he will have to detransform and that magical connection will be lost' Rabbit Noir replies.
‘But where, when? We can’t keep an eye on all space-time!’ Ladybug replies. ‘We only have one solution! Lucky Charm!’
Ladybug calls out her superpower and catches the lucky charm.
‘A mini miraculous box?’ Rabbit Noir says quizzically.
‘I received one just like it on Heroes Day for defeating Monarch when he was still Hawkmoth. Not sure how we’re going to use it now...’ Ladybug replies.
‘You’ll find out. You always find out! Wait a while' Rabbit Noir says with a smile.
She looks across the street and sees young Master Fu and Marianne and the old miracle box still on Master Fu’s back as it lights up.
Ladybug smiles. ‘That’s it, that’s the key! It won’t be here, not now! Come with me!’ Ladybug says, taking Rabbit Noirs' hand.
