You had drifted off to sleep again after that horrible nightmare first time round. Missy held you and made you feel so very loved and indeed safe. That was what got you to sleep. The promise of safety and love within her arms.

You opened your eyes, blinking a little before smiling when seeing Missy smiling back at you, her fingers lightly running over your face and tracing your complexion. You couldn't help but blush a little before hiding your face, making her chuckle lightly.

"Good morning my love" she smiled.

"Good morning my angel" you smiled back at her, bringing your head out to look at her before raising a brow "we saying my before calling each other love or angel now?" You smiled.

She grinned at that "yes" she replied before squeezing you "because you're my girlfriend now. And you're officially mine" she smiled happily "and I'm officially yours" she grinned.

You couldn't help but smile widely at that thought. She was yours. Officially. Your beautiful angel.

"Mine" you whispered before wrapping your arms around her neck and pulling her close to you.

She chuckled at that before you felt her nodding her head "yours" she said softly in return, hugging you warmly, making you appreciate the warmth and contact.

For two years you hadn't hugged anyone or even touched anyone. It felt so good to finally be able to hold someone again. To have someone touch you and hug you closely. You forgot how warm Missy's hugs could be. How amazing they could feel. Every cell in your body seemed to light up in happiness and warmth. And to know she was your girlfriend just...made you feel so happy inside, like everything was buzzing slightly and all fuzzy.

But as you thought about it you couldn't help but frown a little. Jason was still around. And...although you wanted to break up with him, you were too afraid too. Alongside other reasons of course. But you hadn't done anything yet. Meaning..he was still your boyfriend. Not that you loved him, at all in fact. You hated him, with everything. He was the reason for all the fear inside you.

He was the reason for all your problems and you knew that. He still hanged you every day, every second. In reality or within your dreams. You couldn't even sleep properly with him stuck in your mind. Haunting you...

And you couldn't help but feel your lips starting to wobble at the thought of all of this. This complicated mess you were in and of course dragging Missy into. She didn't even know about Jason. And you knew it was unfair to let her be your girlfriend without any knowledge of him. Of course it made you feel incredibly guilty.

But you just didn't know what her reaction would be to all of this. Firstly to telling her that you had a boyfriend, no matter how much you wanted her to know. Maybe she would get mad and break up with you. Or she would just get upset..which you also couldn't bare to see. But then there was the anger. You really didn't want to see her getting angry. You knew she would end up killing him and that was the last thing you wanted to happen.

But you also had a feeling the doctor would go down the same rout. You knew that she could be the oncoming storm whenever she wanted to. The destroyer of worlds. When she was angry. And protecting her friends. You didn't even want to think about what she would do to Jason.

And anyways, you were safe now. Well away from home. They promised they wouldn't let you go again. So you were away from him, never to be hurt again. There was no need to tell them...right?

Missy saw your change in behaviour and mood, noticing your frown, making her furrow her brows a little. Her eyes changed to ones of concern as she flickered her eyes between both of yours, trying to make some eye contact with your distant ones.

"Is everything alright?" She asked softly, her brows furrowed in concern slightly.

You sighed a little before nodding your head and staring to sit up. She did the same beside you, an arm around your waist as you rubbed your hand over your face, wiping the sleep from your eyes.

"Yeah, yeah I'm fine" you reassured her, before stretching a little.

"Did you not have a good sleep?" She asked softly "did you have a nightmare again?"

"No! No nothing like that. I actually slept really well the second time" you told her before sighing slightly, your eyes closing for a moment as you swallowed the lump from your throat.

She stayed silent for a few moments before speaking up again in a soft tone, knowing how delicate you were in this moment. In a way you were glad she was being careful with you. You didn't think you could deal with too much at the moment. You needed a moment to wake up properly before all of that.

"Than what is it?" She asked gently before smiling "because that frown really doesn't look like it belongs where your smile should be"

You couldn't help but smile a little at that before chuckling lightly. You shook your head before biting your lip, pulling at a few loose threads on your sleeve.

"You won't let me go again will you?" You asked quietly, your voice delicate and soft, trying to hold back a hurricane of emotion that was threatening to spill over "you won't leave me there again..."

Missy grasped your hand in hers gently, squeezing it and making you look up into her eyes. She had a sincere and serious look on her face when she said the rest.

"(Y/n)(l/n), I promise, I will never let you go ever again" she told you, squeezing your hand "I'll always keep you with me. Beside me" she raised your hand so it was held up against her chest, making your heart flutter a little.

And you felt a genuine smile start to form on your lips.
