"Gareth..." Logan's voice was trembling as he held up the notebook "What is this? why do you have all my notes?"
"Logan I..."
"Have you been dating me just to copy my notes?" Gareth sighed
"All right yes. Also... i felt sorry for you because no one else was going to" Logan grabbed his notes and stalked out of the dorm nearly bowling someone over.
"Hey easy there Flash!" Logan just tried a smile and failed. "Hey are you ok?" He was already running away.
later...
"Hey! Hey you forgot this!" Logan turned around reluctantly as a guy around his age jogged over to him. "You left your glasses case in my dorm"
"You're Gareth's dorm mate?" He extended a hand
"Patton Sendirs, you must be Gareth's friend" Logan smiled sadly
"Ex boyfriend. he was just using me" Patton clenched his fists
"That dick! i can't believe him!"
"Has he done it before?"
"Not exactly but now i know... he was still going out with my little brother" Logan thought
"So he screwed two people over" Realising he hadn't introduced himself he grinned apologetically "I'm Logan"
"Sanders? you run the existential mysteries series on youtube don't you?" Here it came. The jokes and sneering. "I think it's really cool" Wait what? "Hey my brother Thomas really needs tutoring in subjects like that. Could you?" Logan nodded
"Yeah sure"
"I'm so sorry about my heartless dorm mate. you want to grab a coffee? on his tab" Patton grinned when he nodded. "I'll see you after psychology then, which classroom will you be in?"
"C6 unless we go to the IT lab" Patton dug out his phone number
"You can call and tell me ok?" Logan nodded
"I will"
"Oh and if you ever need to talk i'll be around. so call me" Patton waved as he left with Logan smiling slightly. He murmured quietly
