"Roman stop! i'm not beautiful" Roman's arms snaked around his waist as he laughed in Aradan's ear

"Yes, my dark angel, you are, and i'll even prove it to you"

"Oh really?" He turned around and tackled him to the ground, straddling him until Roman flipped them over grinning as he kissed him breathless

"Really" Aradan laughed as his boyfriend peppered kisses all over him, catching his lips in a sweet long kiss which he melted into.

"I love you Roman" Roman kissed his cheek smiling

"And I you... my dark angel"

On the other side of the bank Moral had Logan pinned against a tree, holding his wrists above his head while moving his lips in a passionate kiss. he teased gently

"Who would imagine Logic himself would go dumb at a simple kiss?" Logan smiled and blushed at the nickname

"There's nothing simple about this." Moral bit his ear lightly

"Oh no?" Logan turned his head to catch a kiss

"This love... is the deepest most complex mystery ever to exist... and I love it!" Moral grinned

"I love you. I want to marry you as soon as I can. i don't care my status is below you, i don't care if a thousand object. I'll marry you Logic..." He slid a ring onto his finger "I promise" Logan replied with a kiss.

"I love you too"

"I forbid you to marry my sons!" Aradan pleaded

"Father please!"

"They would drag down your status!" Logan begged

"We don't care!"

"QUIET! You will marry whom i choose! Sirs Roman and Moral, for corrupting and seducing the children of the crown... i sentence you..." Aradan and Logan begged

"No please!"

"To exile" The lovesick Aradan yelled and broke down crying on his lovers shoulder until he was dragged away. Logan collapsed.

three years later

Aradan and Logan woke up with a feeling of dread due to one fact. It was Aradan's nineteenth birthday and they were both now of age for their parents to forge alliances. it was the day Princes Roman and Marran were to come to the gates. The day they were both to be married off.

Logan instantly ran to find his best friend (aside from his brother) Thomas, who was only half a year older than him so had been his friend from childhood. Master Sanders stood up at his entrance

"Prince Logan. What brings you here on this of all days?" Logan closed his eyes at the reminder, his voice trembling a little when he spoke

"I'm here to say goodbye"

Aradan cried into his mother's dress, the tear blue fabric becoming still darker as she soothed him

"There darling, i'll see you again. Smile for me?" She hugged him close to whisper "I'll miss you so much!"

"And me mother?" Logan spoke from the doorway "Will you miss me?" He was a constant reminder of the kings first wife, his sight problems and bluntness made him impossible to befriend, and he had corrected her too many times to count. She pulled him close

"More than you could ever know..." She kissed his forehead and whispered "No matter whose blood you have, you'll always be my son"

The sound of hoofbeats got further away from the palace until Logan and Aradan dismounted at the gate, saying goodbye to their horses Sherlock and Goth.

"The Fansaifell Princes approach!" The kings voice was steady

"Let them" Two young men rode through the gates confidently with dazzling smiles. Maron wore a golden white suit and bright silver sash while a gleaming sword hung from his belt. Light blonde hair matched his brothers while deep brown eyes betrayed his uncomfortableness at taking their betrothed husbands from their home. Romal wore a gentle green suit with a light grey cloak tied in the middle over his shoulders. Deep brown eyes matched Maron's Dismounting from his horse he extended a hand to Logan as Aradan took Roman's. Logan wordlessly accepted and was lifted onto the steed before Romal swung on in front of him, taking the reins.

"You might have to hold my waist" Logan nodded, silently following the suggestion as Aradan did the same. They waved farewell before turning their horses to leave, tears staining his face as Logan bit his lip as always to stay strong... and cried.

Later the two Princes slept in separate beds to their soon to be husbands, thinking of their childhood loves and wishing...

"Anywhere but here."

"Logan?" Logan sat up

"Who's there?" Romal walked in

"I promised i'd marry you didn't I?" Logan frowned

"What...?"

Maron shook him gently so Aradan woke up

"What is it?" Maron whispered

"You're still a dark angel" Aradan's eyes widened when he removed the wig to show the chestnut brown hair he'd pined for.

"Roman!"

"I promised i'd marry you didn't I?" Logan frowned

"What...?" Romal pulled off the wig to reveal chestnut brown hair, taking out the contacts and placing on his glasses. he whispered jokingly

"Surprise Logic!" Logan sat up to stare before kissing him

"Moral!"
