I was standing beside my handcarry luggage, waiting for my flight. I already checked in, still waiting for my boarding time. My parents, my siblings, Haruhi, my school's advisor, and even the school's chairman were here.
I was busy talking to Haruhi as my parents were talking to the school's chairman.
Haruhi handed me a game to my surprise. Well, handed it secretly since she knew that I loved playing psp games, but hiding it well from my parents
"When you return here you must finish All route. Especially, Senri's route"
"Norn9? Otome game? Can I have Tales series? I wanted to finish Tales of Zestiria" I demanded and received a chopped on the head
"Stop with RPG games for now. And also this" she handed me another one and winked, Moujutsukai to Oujisama (The beast master and the princes) "finished all their routes, okay?"
I knew these games, since there was one time when I visited Hiro-san, he was recording for Norn9 game. But I didn't know who he voiced here. I guess I would try playing it.
I put them on my hand carry luggage and felt Haruhi's hand tapping on my shoulder. As I looked at her, she pointed behind me, and there I saw Hiro-san approaching us.
I giggled inside and tried to hide it. I waved at him and his smile went from ear to ear.
"And here I thought you wouldn't come" I pouted my lips. After telling him that day, we didn't see each other nor message that much. But I told him my flight
"Of course, I would go. The longest time I didn't see you was two months, this time, you are not telling me how long. Just told me, longer than 2 months"
I chuckled and asked him how was work. He looked at my plane ticket and really couldn't believe that I would be leaving. Haruhi joined us and Hiro-san was surprised to see her again.
Time passed and it was my boarding time. My father would come with me, just to send me there. He would just stay for a day then return.
I hugged all of them, even Hiro-san. As we sat down in our specific seat, my father curiously asked
"Your boyfriend?"
"Nope, just a friend. He is a seiyuu actually." I answered and rested my arm on the armchair and my chin on my palm. I gazed on the window and smiled to myself, "a special friend"

The sun was shining brightly. It wasn't the same in (name of country you like). The humid weather of Japan, I hadn't experienced it for 4 months. Not to mention, the crowd was making me tired
"(F/N), you'll passed out just standing here in line"
"Haruhi, are we almost there?"
"Oh yeah, since this is your first time attending an event. It can't be helped, you need to line up to buy merchandise. We should buy the pamphlet and light stick too"
I just came back from (name of country) and Haruhi invited me to watch this event. She bought the ticket for me, and I told her we could watch other time for the event, but it seemed it was the last day.
After an hour of lining up, finally it was our turn to buy. Ah good thing, I knew some of these games, thanks to Haruhi.
After buying, we headed inside and found our seat. I was on daze, the Tokyo International Forum was so big.
Our seat was on the middle of the first floor and mine was beside the aisle, and Haruhi was beside me. We sat down and waited for the otomate party to start.
Not long after, the light became dim, and we heard someone talked.
"Hiro-san" I commented when I heard his voice and at the same time, I turned the pamphlet to his page. I chuckled and turned to the next page and Kaji-san was there. I flipped the pages and the other seiyuu that I knew were also on the pamphlet.
The event started and I knew that the other voice was Toriumi-san. The other one, I knew I heard his voice before but I couldn't remember who.
The voice over started and I was amazed how the people around shouted while giggling, waving the light pens they were holding by just hearing their voices and seeing the characters on the monitor
"(F/N), raise your spirit. At least support Shimono-san"
"I am. However, I'm still on daze on how the audience reacts when they come out on stage. I never felt before that Hiro-san is a famous person, but then seeing the reaction from everyone when he came out of the stage, I finally understand, ah Hiro-san is really famous"
I heard Haruhi chuckled beside me and we focused on the people that were doing their introduction on the stage.
The on stage reading started, and I couldn't help but feel their voices and Their sweet lines gave me thrill all over my body. However, I really felt the thumping on my chest, when Hiro-san was reading his lines.

"...variety corner?" I asked Haruhi but she also didn't know. Good thing, Toriumi-san explained. The other mc named Suzumura Kenichi also explained. "Ah, Hiro-san is with Kaji-san and Maeno-san."
The game started and yes, they were indeed funny to watch. But I noticed, they were making fun of Hiro-san. Seemed like he was an easy target to bully.
The first round ended and both team got a point. Since it was my first time attending such event, I was excited when they mentioned that a seiyuu would go to the audience.
"It will be funny if you will be chosen" Haruhi chuckled and I shook my head
"There are lots here. It's impossible" I answered and again shifted my head to the stage
"Can I suggest Shimono-san to get one for me?" Maeno-san asked and Hiro-san was shaking his head
"No, not me." He was waving his hand in front of him, but in the end it was him who got the seat number for Maeno-san because Suzumura-san insisted.
Maeno-san went to the first floor and the seiyuu named KENN went to the second floor. My eyes were just fixated to the stage, watching Hiro-san talking to Kaji-san. The seiyuu who were left on stage were so noisy as they were talking to each other
However, I felt so nervous as the staff and Maeno-san was heading near us. Well, I knew him, but I didn't know if he still remember me. The girls around us were all giggling, calling Maeno-san
As if on cue, the staff pointed at me and Maeno-san bowed down, but I saw how his eyes widened when he looked at me
"(L/N)-san?!"
I smiled awkwardly and tried to hide my emotion.
"Ah, Maeno-kun, did you find already?" Suzumura-san asked and he waved his hand
"I'm here. And I already arrived! Everyone listen to this. You can't believe this! It's Shimono-san's girlfriend!"
"No, I'm not!" I immediately responded and the seiyuu, even the audience became noisier and noisier, curious to what he meant
"Oi, oi, what are you talking about!" Hiro-san said and stood up. I could see how some of them squinted their eyes and some looked over the monitor
"Ah, it's true, it's the lucky girl!" I heard Kaji-san and Toriumi-san commented

"Today, where did you come from?" Maeno-san asked and I was so hesitant but Maeno-san pointed the microphone towards me
"(Name of country)" I answered and the seiyuu on stage again shouted in disbelief. Well, it couldn't be helped since I just came back
"You see, she just returned from her study abroad!" Hiro-san explained and laughed "oi, let's stop this. You are troubling her. Let her get a number already"
"Shimono-kun is so defensive" they commented and Maeno-san asked me to get a number from the box
"But Shimono-san sure is lucky" I heard Kaji-san "he was the one who got the seat number, right? Then, she is actually, unbelievably lucky!"
"Stop that!"
"Shimono, Shimono, why are you so red?"
"Stop that Yusa-san"
"But it is really unbelievable!" Suzumura-san sounded so excited "Shimono is still lucky. Now then, Maeno-kun, what is the number?"
"Number 3" Maeno answered and handed his hand for shake hand. I accepted it shyly, still embarrassed to what just happened
"Thank you very much, Shimono's girlfriend!"
"Stop that, I said!" Hiro-san stopped him and then waved his hand "welcome back" he shouted and I noticed his gestured.
"Phone?" I mumbled and heard this person beside me laughing non-stop "stop it Haruhi"
"Eh why? It's funny how he didn't deny it, just telling them to stop. Oh well, at least it's really confirm. You are one lucky girl"
The variety corner continued and it was nice that in the end Hiro-san's group won. Though I felt so embarrassed since I knew some of the girls near us were looking at me.

Time passed and finally the night event of otomate party ended. We decided to stay for a while since it would be crowded when we joined the others going out of the event hall. Also, once the event ended I turned on my phone and received a message from Hiro-san, telling me to stay for a while.
But then, to our surprise, a staff approached us and told us to follow her. She explained that Hiro-san asked her to get us. She led us where Hiro-san was, and there in the room, the other seiyuu were there.
"(F/N)!" Hiro-san shouted excitedly as he approached me and gave me a warm welcome "you are finally back. Welcome back"
I was so embarrassed as I could see and hear the others grinning and teasing us.
"After all, she is your girlfriend" Suzumura-san and the others teasingly said
"I am not" I responded and smiled shyly "we're close friends" there was a sting on my chest when I said that. But then,
"She is a special, very special person" Hiro-san wrapped his hand around my shoulder
"Don't brag about it!" Toriumi-san laughed and pointed at me "but seriously, you really are so lucky"
"Ah no, just a first time luck"
Kaji-san and even Maeno-san agreed to Toriumi that I was really lucky. Kaji-san told the others what happened four months ago. I just remained silent, and they were complimenting how lucky I was, and complaining at the same time, why of all people Hiro-san. But I knew, they were teasing him
We stayed for a while but Hiro-san was the one who bid goodbye to others first and told them that he would send me and Haruhi home.

"Thank you very much for sending me home. (F/N), see you next week" Haruhi waved at us and got off on Hiro-san's car
"Next week?"
"Ah" I chuckled and nodded "I have a week off from school."
I told Hiro-san that my parents picked me up from the airport and sent me to the Tokyo International Forum to meet Haruhi. Since Hiro-san was curious why I didn't have my luggage. He wanted to know what happened on the academic Olympiad, but then he said that it could wait some other time. I assured him though, I won.
"I'm sorry about what happened during the variety corner"
I was surprised since his voice suddenly became serious. I chuckled and shook my head
"Why are you apologizing? It was embarrassing, but I had fun and good memories during the first event I attended. I should apologize since because of me, everyone teased you. They even called me your girlfriend even though I'm not"
He remained silence and so I curiously looked at him. Even though it was dim inside his car, I felt like he was blushing
"That... can you be? For real...?"
I blinked fast trying to process what he just said. I gasped as I finally got it. My heart thumped fast and I knew my face turned really red. Was he serious about what he just said? Or was it an after effect of the event?
As I was about to response, reality strike me and him
"Shimono-san is so bold."
I turned away and I was really embarrassed. We totally forgot; we were in Hiro-san's van. His manager was driving, and beside his manager was his stylist, and behind us, Kaji-san, Maeno-san and KENN-san were there.
"Eh, why are you here?!" Hiro-san shouted and received a loud laugh from them "ah, right, I totally forgot!"
I was so embarrassed that I couldn't help but just remain quiet. Their voices that were teasing Hiro-san became mute to my ear as Hiro-san's words echoed over and over.
Was he serious when he said that?
I sat down quietly until we arrived in front of my house.
"Thank you for sending me home" I bowed down towards Hiro-san who was in front of me as we were standing outside our house. "Take care on your way home"
"(F/N)"
"Hmmmm?"
"What I said a while ago..."
"A while ago... ah..." I turned red and again the beating of my heart became so fast and it was hard to breathe
"Please think about it. These past months, I think about my feelings towards you. I am always thankful that I met you that day, and even chose you as my partner. You really are special, so special that being your friend is not enough" He smiled as he put his hand behind his head, blushing and embarrassed in the ambiance we were in. "Your answer?"
"Ah, y-yes, I will!" I answered and was surprised when I felt the cold smooth lips of Hiro-san on my cheeks "H-Hiro-san..."
"Good night, (F/N). See you. Go inside first"
"T-thank you. Good night" I bowed down hesitantly but went inside first and before I closed the door I waved at him.
But once I locked the door, I fall on my knees, clenched my chest as I touched my cheeks.
It started when he chose me as his partner. We became close friends to special friends. I couldn't response to his feelings, not because I didn't like him, but I was so surprised that we have mutual feelings. My chest wouldn't calm down. I know for sure, the next time our eyes will meet, my feelings will overflow. And I will confess to him
"I really love Hiro-san since the day you chose me as your partner"
