Another tiring day had passed. Ah, I wanted to go home. I was walking towards the staff room to change and get my things when two voices echoed in the hallway
"Eh, you are done, (F/N)-chan?!"
I looked behind me and two of my friends who looked so jealous of me were approaching me. I laughed and nodded at their question
"I'm only a part time nurse here, so I can go home earlier than you." I explained and put my arms around them "Do I need to explain this to you time to time?"
"You need, since we don't think that you are only a part-time here. Your presence is lurking all over the hospital." Kim laughed
Kim and Arisu locked me in their arms as they both carried me back to the first floor lobby. "WAIT A MINUTE!"
Even though I tried to break free from them, I couldn't since they were too strong, and there were two of them.
Good thing there were few people in the first lobby. The nurses on the nurse station and service station were laughing at us. However, we all shifted our eyes to the person came out of the elevator who was in hurry. But because of that, he bumped in to someone, resulting for both of them to fall down. The person who came out of the elevator landed on his butt and he hurriedly stood up, bowed down on the other person and left. On the other hand, the other person, bumped his back onto the door, resulting him to bounce back and fall on one knee,
"That's why you shouldn't run that fast" Arisu shook her head.
As the other person stood up, I squinted my eyes, and seemed there was something wrong with that person.
I felt my feet on the ground, as the two slapped my back
"Now, I'll leave that to you." The two of them said in chorus
"Huh?!"
"You are a nurse, right? We still have a rounding to do with our patients" again with the chorus
Well without them telling me, I would go and approach that person. But the thing was, the slapped on the back was unnecessary.
As I approached that person, he was sort of limping. I knew it, there was a scrape on his knee. Also, we need to check his back too since he bounced back.
"Uhm" Once I called him, I noticed that he jolted in surprise. Looking at him closely, I felt like I was captivated by his beauty. He had a fair white skin, and even though he was wearing a round eyeglass, I could see his eyes were sparkling, and what a rosy lips, and pointy nose, ah, what a beautiful face, more beautiful compare to mine
WAIT (F/N)! That's not it!
"Yes?" in low voice, he looked at me then gazed back on the ground, and then again looked back at me
"I saw what happened. We need to check your knee and also your back"
"Ah, no, I'm fine" he answered and he was really looking at me
"Ahre, (L/N), you are still here?" One of the hospital doctors asked once he got out of the elevator
"(F/N)-chan was dragged by her friends" the nurses in the nurse station answered
"I'll leave after I check this patient. Don't worry, I'll leave after" I answered back and crouched down to see the scrape on his knee. Since he was wearing an above the knee jeans that surprisingly match up with his fashion. "We need to clean this before it got infection. Also, as I said your back" I looked up at him and his face that was looking at me, it was a face of surprised "Is there something wrong?"
"Ah, n-no." he cleared his throat and looked away, though I noticed how his face turned red and he was glancing at me "I'm fine, you don't need to worry about this"
I chuckled and put my hands on my uniform pocket "Well, if I'm not a nurse, I'll probably just let it be. But unfortunately I am, so before anything happens to you, let's go and apply first aid to your knee and check your back. This way" I smiled as I turned around "Oh, and don't worry, it's free."
We went to the nurse office and asked him to sit down.
"You seemed like a doctor though" he said and for some reason I could feel that he was looking at my face again.
I laughed from his question and sat down in front of him after setting up all the things I needed "Well, I'm an independent nurse, so independent."
"Somehow I interpret it differently" he commented honestly. I again laughed and told him to put his leg up and rest it on my lap, but he refused and said that he would just sit down on the patience bed instead and lie down his legs there.
"Uhm, may I know what's your name?" I asked to him while cleaning the scrape on his knee. It was surprising though that he only got a small scrape but it became really red. He seemed have sensitive skin
"Eh?"
"Ah, no, sorry, I don't know what to call you, so last name will be fine. Or for some reason you cannot say it?" I asked but still my vision was only on his knee. I somehow couldn't look at him, since I could feel his stare. I was being conscious. I knew if people were staring at me, but this would be the first time someone was looking at me intensely. Was he mad?
"Ah, I'm Aoi Shouta" he answered in low voice. What a cute name. And also I noticed it for a while now, he has a good soothing voice
"Nice to meet you, Aoi-san. I'm (L/N) (F/N)" I looked at him and he was really looking at me. I again gazed back and applied betadine on his wound "Aoi-san has a very sensitive skin. Good thing we applied a first aid for it, or else it would be bad on the future" I said while putting the band aid. I looked at him and pointed on his knees "Also, you are putting too much stress on your lower body. Make sure to exercise daily."
"Hmmm, so that's why." He said stretching his legs. "Recently, my feet would just numb" he said and again looked at me. He smiled sweetly and thanked me. Somehow an arrow just strike on my heart from his smile. He is really beautiful. His face is beyond everyone!
To hide my embarrassment, I stood up and put back the kit on the table "Uhm, by the way, I'm waiting for the other nurse who will check your back"
"You are not going to do it?"
I shook my head and smiled back to him "Nope. I can check it, but we need the x-ray machine. Unfortunately, my shift is already over so I cannot use the room. Oh but I'll stay until I make sure you do the x-ray"
"I see. Thank you very much and sorry for troubling you."
"No, don't worry about it. Besides, I just noticed by now. The one who bumped you a while ago is one my senior here. He often bumped to everyone every time he is in hurry. Though we always tell him to be aware of that"
"What a clumsy senior you have here" he chuckled
"True, so don't worry and your payment will be paid by him"
"Eh? No, I'll pay for-"
"Don't worry, don't worry. We experienced these kind of things most of the time, and he is kind enough to make responsible for it. He is the center of bullying here, in a good way" I laughed and had a glanced on him and wah, he was really looking at me. I was really conscious by his stare. "B-by the way, Aoi-san, what is your business here in the hospital?"
"I'm here to visit my high school friend. He is in room 316. Do you know him?" he answered and somehow he emphasize the word High School, or was it my imagination?
"I see. Third floor, huh. I haven't do any routine in third floor so I don't know any patients there. I always do routine in specific patients since I'm an independent nurse, and also the VIP patients" I answered tilting my head "But I never been to the third and sixth floor of the hospital."
"I-I see, that's sad" he said and still his gaze was fixed to me
"Uhm, Aoi-san"
"Hmmmm?"
"Is there's something wrong on my face?" I answered confusedly "You've been staring at my face since the beginning? Did I do something wrong?" I felt so embarrassed and I knew that my face was so red right now
He laughed and shook his head "You didn't do anything. Just, you are (L/N) (F/N), right? Actually-"
But even before he continued, there was a knock on the door that interrupted him. The door opened and finally the one we were waiting for
"Yuuto, finally you are here!" I hissed and his expressionless face was indeed showing. Yuuto was also my classmate in university, and we graduated and worked here in the hospital at the same time "Aoi-san, this is Asai Yuuto, also an independent nurse here" I introduced then turned to Yuuto
"Nice to meet you, I'm Asai Yuuto." He bowed down then looked at me "Dr. Soushi?" I nodded and he sighed "Well then, Aoi-san, please follow me. And you, (F/N), go home. I'll look after him. Your shift is over a long time ago"
"I will after making sure that Aoi-san finished the x-ray." I answered then turned to Aoi-san who got up from bed and whispered "Let's go, this guy is a gloomy guy, so bear with him"
The three of us headed to the x-ray room. The result though would come out two days after so we needed his information and asked him to return. He made sure though if I would be there, and I reassured him that I would personally look at him when he returned. He smiled so brightly when I said that. He needed to fill-up some information and I wanted to make sure that he did, but Yuuto insisted that he would take care of him and told me to go home straight and rest.
Well, as if. I stopped by a bookstore to buy new novels since outside of my work, reading was the only thing I do aside from cooking and lazing around. Before I entered the bookstore, I noticed the CD store beside it and in the entrance there was a poster
"EH, AOI SHOUTA?!" I shouted in surprise. I immediately got my phone out and searched for his name "Woah! Unbelievable! He is a famous person? A seiyuu, musical actor and a singer? I don't even know! Oh, so that's why there's a stress in his lower body. UtaPri? Isn't that Arisu's favorite anime?" I was mumbling to myself as I looked at his pictures.
Out of curiosity, I entered the CD store, and wow! He has albums! Near where I was standing, there were two high school students who were giggling while looking at Aoi-san's CD
"Uhm?" I somehow got curious on how famous this Aoi Shouta was. The two of them looked at me and their faces were so maiden in love. "Is Aoi Shouta that famous?"
They looked at each other first then looked at me "Of course!" they shouted in chorus and I felt the pink ambiance from them
"Okay chill" I said as I was so surprised that they couldn't contain their tension "Sorry, I didn't know. Thank you very much" I bowed down and exited the CD store.
After buying couple of books, I headed home and sat down on the sofa. Having a deep though, I think I got it now why he was looking at me.
"Because I didn't recognize him!" I stood up and nodded "There's no mistake about it. He is a famous person and I'm an impudent person who didn't even recognize him!"
"What are you shouting about (F/N)" My cousin Yoko entered the house with lots of plastic bags on her hand. Yoko is my cousin who is living with me since I moved here from Fukui to Tokyo. My parents bought a house for me. Yes they do love their cute daughter
I hurriedly went to her and helped her and explained to her what happened
"I'm such a bad person"
"We can't help it. You are not interested in watching TV, nor reading other things aside from your science books and novels, you science maniac. Why don't you continue your study and be a doctor instead?"
"You are so mean. Besides, I want to be nurse, not a doctor" I answered then sat down
"Well, setting that aside, then, that Aoi Shouta, he is a famous person."
"He is! No wonder he is so beautiful that his face is really like an angel who comes down from heaven"
"Aren't you exaggerating? Wasn't that the same description you told me about that high school classmate of yours?"
"Ah, Yanagawa Shouta-kun?" I asked and again I had a deep thought "Now you mentioned it, you are right. Shouta-kun was so beautiful too."
"And his name was Shouta, right? Yanagawa Shouta" I nodded and she chuckled at me "What, do you have a Shouta fetish?"
"I don't have" I answered and pouted my lips. Yanagawa Shouta was my classmate from first year high school to third year high school, but we only talked two months before the graduation. How? I gave all my classmates a chocolate on Valentine's Day. That was the first time I talked to him and I noticed that he was so handsome and so beautiful. We became close, but after that I didn't hear anything about him. I honestly did like him that time. Ah, if I could just talk to him sooner than that. Also,
"Why do males that have Shouta on their name are more beautiful than me? I'm being conscious now on my physical appearance"
"Yeah, be conscious so that you can get a boyfriend already, you single science freak!"
"I'll find one eventually! This girl, you just have a boyfriend that's why you are saying that. Ah, why do younger people nowadays can get a boyfriend they want" I stood up and just went back to the living room and started reading.

The next day, another tiring day had passed. I told Dr. Soushi about what he did yesterday, and as expected, he would take responsibility to it.
This time, Arisu and Kim finished their shift too so we headed first to grab something to eat. We headed to the Mos Burger and talked random stuff
"Ah, by the way" Well, since we were talking random topic I told them about Aoi Shouta "He was the person yesterday who Dr. Soushi bumped into. And he is a famous person."
"AOI SHOUTA?! WOAH WAIT! THE SEIYUU?! YOU ARE JOKING?!" Arisu shouted in disbelief and she was really regretting on why she didn't go to him instead
"I didn't know" I emphasized "I was really surprised to see his face on the poster. And yes, he is voicing one of the character in the anime that you like"
"Of course, Mikaze Ai. I went to the UtaPri live" she said that made Kim and I laughed because her tension was on max
"Then who is this Aoi Shouta?" Kim curiously asked while sipping her cola
"I don't know. Oh but he will be coming back tomorrow" I said that made Arisu's excitement exceeded to maximum level
"I know about him, I'm a seiyuu fan too, well UtaPri seiyuu. Aoi Shouta is from Fukui Prefecture"
"Really? I came from Fukui too" I shouted in surprised that made the fries I was chewing came out of my mouth. Really surprised!
"Is that so?!" Even Arisu was surprised. She told us lots of things about him, until she said it "Oh and Aoi Shouta is not his real name"
"Well it's understandable that he uses stage name" Kim commented
"What's his real name?" I confusedly asked and sipped on my cola
"Yanagawa Shouta" Once she said that, all the cola I was drinking spilled inside my mouth as I choked on what she said "What's wrong?!"
"You are joking, right?!"
"Of course not, why would I?"
I slapped my face with my hand and I think I know the real reason now why he was looking at me, no glaring at me
"Is there a problem, (F/N)?"
"No, I think I need to double check something" I said in low voice taking a deep breath and muttered to myself "Yanagawa Shouta is Aoi Shouta?!"

Once I got home, I immediately went to my room and grabbed my high school year book. Good thing I brought this with me.
I was anxious while flipping the pages. As I saw Yanagawa Shouta's face, I searched Aoi Shouta online. And there read some facts about him. True! Same person! Same birthday! Same blood type! Same! The Shouta I knew who was bullied too because of his feminine voice and face.
"Ah, he is really. Why didn't I notice nor remember him?! Wait, Yoko just mentioned him last night, why didn't I realized that time?! No not that, why didn't I recognize him yesterday?! We even talked! AH! I'm SUCH A FAILURE! NOW WHAT SHOULD I DO TOMORROW?! HOW WILL I FACE HIM?! WAIT, DID HE EVEN RECOGNIZE ME? WAS HE? WAS HE? AH, I DON'T KNOW!"
"Shut up, (F/N). Now what is it this time?" Yoko entered my room and noticed what I was doing "Ah, you finally realized, huh?"
"You knew?"
"Are you stupid? I only knew that Yanagawa Shouta from that picture, but even not knowing him, by just seeing his picture and the Aoi Shouta's picture, you'll see the resemblance"
"I wonder what Shouta-kun felt that time?!"
