I couldn't believe it. I was held at work AGAIN. Gerard was waiting. We were supposed to have a coffee date. I was gonna break the big news to him. I finally have enough money to buy a guitar! I couldn't exactly be mad at this Hastings establishment.
I texted Gerard to inform him of my lateness.
Me: Works holding me again. Sorry hun ;* be there A.S.A.P
Gee <3: No problem bb! I'll hold of from ordering your usual rn. Text me on your way over?
Me: Will do ;p I have a surprise for you
Gee <3: Cant wait to see!!
I put my phone away before the manager caught me and continued giving people advice on their CDs... I was into rock music and some of this was trash but hey... you can't bash people's opinions. Unless it gets in the way of someone else's life. Like homophobia or sexism.
They soon released me and I walked out, skateboard in hand, ready to board to the Starbucks.
People got in my way, but I wasn't stopping. They'd have to move. Who thought it was a good idea to stand in front of a rolling machine? No one.
I texted Gerard before I walked into the Starbucks. I walked in and he smirked at my timeliness.
He handed me a $5 bill.
"Order your coffee and show me the surprise!" he exclaimed. There were two empty cups that normally a Frappuchino would be kept in. That coffee will kill his stomach later.
I ordered my coffee and sat at the table.
"Okay, guess what sassy-pants?" I said.
He smirked and stuck his tongue out at me.
"I finally got enough money to pay that guy on eBay for his guitar!" I exclaimed after a torturous silence.
Gerard squeaked in-excitement and hugged me across the table.
"Frankie congratulations!" he squealed.
"Isn't your relationship a little illegal?" an annoyed customer shouted across the restaurant.
"Oh I'm sorry", Gerard said, putting a hand to his ear. "Who said that was any of your business?"
The customer got up and walked out of the restaurant. Gerard and I laughed until we could laugh anymore.
"Do you wanna go home? Or to my apartment I guess", Gerard laughed.
I agreed. We left the barista a tip for the commotion we cause and left.
Gerard and I drove to his house and he cooked pancakes and French toast. Just like our first date.
I realize these are short, but to be honest, I'm releasing all of this at the same time so it wouldn't matter :p haha. Comments and feedback please? And corrections of course cause I SUCK. Thanks for reading c: for all of you interested enough on reading this far... here's a cookie c:
