Ririka x Reader

Crystal skies, pearly gates
When I cross my heart I look both ways
Cause you know you need my help most days
And I can't watch you fall
Play on broken strings
But the ugly world has clipped your wings
You need someone to forgive your sins
And I'm there when you call

"Ririka? Are you crying?" The sound of muffled sobs rang out of the phone. You held the phone tight to your ear, anxious to hear her voice. She didn't answer, tears frantically fell down her face. She felt guilty, her stomach was tight with agony. "Ririka, I'm always here for you, but you have to tell me what's wrong."

Her breath hitched, smalls hiccups leaving her throat. "I didn't mean t-to, everything is telling me to do harsh things, I feels good when I saw them in f-fear." You say in silence, only her heart-wrenching cries of help were heard.

She continued. "I couldn't believe what I d-did, what am I suppose to do, Y/N?"

You look at the time. "I'll be there."

She saw you hang up, and was left waiting for your arrival.

Devil's on your shoulder tryna make you insane
And it's startin' to get hard to make it all go away
Putting Heaven in an empty heart
Is it worth all the pain?

"Y/N?" It was about a week since you came over. You felt stressed, it was hard helping Ririka, but you can't leave her alone to suffer. You look at her with an empty smile.

"Yes?" You reply.

"Thank you, again."

You shrug. "There is no need to thank me, Ririka. I would do it again in a heartbeat."

Save your life
Made me do it for you every time
But angels don't cry
No, angels don't cry
Close your eyes
Let me handle it, I'll be alright
Cuz angels don't cry
No, angels don't cry

"Rirka, lay down." She laid her head on your lap. "I will make everything better, don't worry."

She looked up at you. "What about you? I feel like-"

"I'll be alright. Just sleep, I will stay with you as you wake up."

She closed her eyes, feeling safe in your arms. You look down at her with tired eyes, stroking her face gently.

Watch my halo shine
Hold you bloody while I'm dressed in white
Kiss it better for the hundredth time
And your hurt becomes mine

You saw her arms bloody from self-inflicted wounds. "Shit, Ririka!" You held her to your chest, the blood staining your white attire. You clean up the terrifying scars, kissing you temple. "Ririka, I will make your pain mine, so you won't feel the agony you are being placed into."

You got her cleaned, dressed her nicely, and laid her down on the bed. Her arms bandaged, your chest tight.

"Angels don't cry, I am your savior."

Devil's on your shoulder tryna make you insane
And it's startin' to get hard to make it all go away
Putting Heaven in an empty heart
Is it worth all the pain?

"Shh, it's okay." You hold her. "Don't think, listen to my heart beat."

She kept sobbing, her fist gripping tight on your shirt. "Y/N, I can't-"

"You can, I will make this go away!"

Save your life
Made me do it for you every time
But angels don't cry
No, angels don't cry
Close your eyes
Let me handle it, I'll be alright
Cuz angels don't cry
No, angels don't cry

You fall onto the bathroom floor, a picture of Ririka in your hand. A pitiful smile on your face, a heart that aches, and eyes that holds pain.

"You will be alright."

You looked up at the ceiling light.

"One. . .two. . .three. . ."

I might lose my mind, lose my mind
Tryna save your life
I'll just fake a smile, dry my eyes
Cuz angels don't cry
No, angels don't cry

"Come on, Y/N! It's a pretty day today! Look at the fireworks!"

You looked over at Rirka. "I love you."

She looked at you. "Aren't they beatiful?" You flinched at the loud noise.

"Of course." You smile at her, and she did the same.

Tears slowly falling down. Rirka looked over at you shocked. "Y/N?!"

You pushed her away. "I'm fine, look at the fireworks." She dismissed your remark, and hugged you. "Stop!"

She backed away. "I love you, Ririka."

"I love you t-"

"Do you know what I mean?"

"I love you, Y/N. It's okay to cry."

"But-"

She kissed you, her face flustered after she pulled away. "N-no buts!"

"Okay." You said, holding her hand.

You both looked at the fireworks.

It wasn't a bad ending, but a new beginning.
