Thinking back,
I noticed that I was really negative
about us. About our future together
and everything, overall.

I had my reasons, of course,
but now, none of that matters.
The past is that, the past.

The dark night has passed,
and even though more might come
out way, we can get through it.

I'm happy.
Plain and simple.

I'm that way mainly because of you.
Even though the world is going
down, and everything is falling apart,
at least I know that I will not be alone.

Since we've been together,
I have more reasons to fight and
to survive. I have more reasons
to come home safely, to be with the people I love and care about.

Every second I spent with you,
I treasure and enjoy it, because when I'm with you, everything is better
and brighter.
