50 | one last time

𝓓𝓮𝓪𝓻 𝓢𝓲𝓻𝓲𝓾𝓼,

I feel like days have been brighter, people are more nicer,
I'm getting better.

Despite all the stuff that has
happened, there's still a light at
the end that reminds me
to keep going.

After what happened a few weeks ago,
I have noticed a few changes.

Maybe I'm being dramatic or I'm overthinking, but I have noticed that
every one you sit next to me, you sit
a little bit more closer than usual.
You smiled more to me, you talk
more to me, and even stay with me in the library.

Maybe it's because you're being nice, maybe that's the only explanation and
I'm here over analyzing it.

Don't get me wrong, I love it.
I have been enjoying every single moment with you, more than ever.

Now that we are done with the school year and we approach our last year,
I can't help but hope for something
else to happen. Is it too much I ask?

You still talk to girls, and even
though I have a bad taste in my
mouth about it, I'm no one to forbid you things. At least you're not snugging them, right?

When we arrived at the station,
I said my goodbyes to everyone,
saving you for last.

I turn to you, and gave you a big smile.

You said looking down at me.

You slowly approached and gave
me a hug, let me say, that I don't
regret that we took so long to pull apart.

When we did, you gave me a kiss
on the forehead and smiled again.

❝write to me?❞
I asked, tilting my head.

❝of course❞
You answered
❝we have the journals, so I'm
pretty sure we'll be chatting a lot❞

We both chuckled and looked
at each other.

If it was up to me, I would have stayed there forever, just looking at you.
But unfortunately, everything has to come to an end.

I heard my name being called
by my brother, and I had to say goodbye to you.

You held my hand and gave it a squeeze. I walked away slowly with your hand still on mine. When I was far enough,
out hands pulled away, I gave you a last waved. You did the same and watch
me go.

I turn and saw Jason and Adeline,
his girlfriend with a bouquet of flowers waiting for me. I smiled and waved
at them.

Before I got to there, I turn around to see you walking away towards the Potter's. But before you got to them,
you turn around and our eyes connected.

We smiled at each other one last time, and we parted ways.
But we'll see each other soon, after all, we always find our way back to
each other.
