I wanted to write this the second
we got back to the castle, but I waited. You'll never read this, so it's okay.

Today was our hogsmeade "date".
I was excited, even though it wasn't going to be as planned.

Marlene thought it wasn't a good
idea to go because I would be stuck
as a third wheel. But I have been one my whole life, it's normal for me.

I got ready, and Lily even made
my hair. When I went down to the common room, there you were.

You were sitting next to Remus,
having  that beautiful smile of yours that brightens the room.

When your stare fell onto me,
I thought for a second I was going to trip and embarrass myself.

Fortunately I didn't.
Marlene and Lily we're behind me,
giving me supporting words with occasional giggles.

You looked up and smiled.
❝hello, Sammy❞

❝good evening❞
I answered smiling.

❝ready?❞
you asked and I nodded
❝I got us more company, hope you mind❞

I raised my eyebrows waiting for an answer, until I fell an arm around my shoulders.

❝hello, Samantha❞

I turned and saw James smiling
widely down at me.

❝bloody hell❞
Lily and Marlene said at the same time.

James shoot them a smile and turn to see you.

❝shall we go?❞
James said and you stood up.

You said and starting walking,
James following you behind.

I still had my surprise face, not expecting that. I turned to see the girls and they gave me thumbs up,
only they were just was confused as I was. I turned to see Remus and
he shoot me an apologetic smile.

❝are you coming, Sammy?❞
you asked once you notice I
wasn't following you. I nodded and
went with you.

We had to wait ten minutes outside
the Ravenclaw common room until Hannah got out.

The four of us began to walk to give
our permission slips. Mcgonagall send us a glare, which just made you and James smile.

❝does anyone fancy a butter beer?❞
James asked clapping his hands
together and I nodded.

❝we should go to Gladrags first,
then to Madam Puddifoot's❞
Hannah stated, linking her arm with yours.

I turned to see James and
he had his eyebrow raised. He looked
at me too, thinking the same.
We then looked at you, but you just shrugged.
