You responded and Hannah
squealed excited, giving you a kiss on the cheek.

While you two walked closed
to each other, arms together and
almost snogging in front of every shop. Me and James had our arms linked
in a friendly way, he made me laugh occasionally.

❝you can thank me for
saving your life later❞
he said smiling
❝I knew it was going to be awkward
for you once lover boy told me about
it, so I decided to make your life
better with me presence❞

I laughed
❝well thank you, my hero❞

❝you two coming?❞
You shouted once you notice we
were a little behind.
I nodded and walked a little faster.
Hannah dragged you to the shop,
not really waiting for us.

Before entering to our third shop,
James stopped in front of the store, turning to see me.
❝you don't need to hide it with me,
you know❞

I looked at him confused
and he smiled.

❝I know who you fancy❞
he said proudly and my stomach dropped.

Was I that obvious?

❝what—I don't know what you're taking about—❞
I babbled and he put a hand
on my shoulder.

❝don't worry, he is too oblivious
to notice, and I know how to keep a secret❞
he said smiling.

❝really? Wasn't it you the one
who told everyone what color
were Remus' underwear last year the minute you saw them?❞
I asked with my arms crossed.

❝y-yeah, but that was last year, Samantha, I'm a new man❞

I rolled my eyes and opened
the door to the shop, only to be
pushed aside when a pissed off
Hannah got out.

Me and James shared a look
and saw you coming out of
the shop as well.

❝what happened?❞
I asked furrowing my eyebrows.

❝women❞
you said shaking your head
❝I think I have a special power
to piss them off quickly without saying a word❞

❝are you sure you didn't said anything?❞
I asked with a raised eyebrow,
looking at you and then at the
direction Hannah went.

❝I might have❞
you whispered
❝but still, she just blew up❞

❝I know what can fix it❞
James said smiling
❝fire whiskey❞

❝no❞
I said immediately.

❝we'll order you a butterbeer,
Sammy, let's go mate❞
You said smiling and I sighed,
following you two.

When we arrived, you two started drinking and telling me all sorts of stories about what you had
done in the summer.

After being there for some time,
James, who was between us,
stood up abruptly.

❝I have to go, I saw Lily flower outside, see you two later❞

You shrugged and watched him leave.
I turned to see him and he shoot
me a smirk. He hadn't seen Lily anywhere, the git.

The noise of someone sitting next to me brought time back, making
me look beside me.

You sat next to me,
where James has been previously
and send me a smile.

I thought I stopped breathing for a second, because my head went blank and my heart began to pound.

Everything went so fast,
I was still processing it. But you
didn't think the same, because
you took the opportunity.

❝tell me something Sammy, anything❞
you said, drinking from your cup.

I was quiet for a minute,
not knowing what to say.

But you were patient.
You waited until I began telling
you something, and from that,
we began to chat, letting the time
pass by.

What it started with a
weird day, it ended with
a wonderful moment.

I still can't get the smile out
of my face, and my cheeks are
beginning to hurt.

My heart is so full of happiness,
there's nothing it can ruin the
rest my week. It was so lovely
and peaceful.

I'm glad we were able to talk and
open up to each other.
I listened to you, pushing my feeling aside, because in that moment,
it was only you, me, and
a wonderful friendship that will stay  together, not matter what.

Goodbye Sirius, I'll see you tomorrow.
