"Lord, have a lightning bolt strike me."

That'd be quite shocking. Heh heh.

That was until you felt the droplets that fell onto your face cease. You slowly opened your eyes only to once more meet with a pair of purple. The boy from the halls, and the class opposite of your Chemistry, was standing above you holding an umbrella to cover you.

Your eyes widened, as he stood, his head tilted as he watched you with attentiveness. You grabbed his outstretched hand, and he helped you up, your eyes never parting from his.

"Um...hi." You greeted, rubbing your hands through your hair.

He watched you through narrowed eyes before nodding, "Hi."

You were taken by surprise as he spoke. You smiled at him, hoping he'd return it. And this time, he did. The small corners of his lips turned slightly upwards. Your hand still held together. It wasn't much, but for him it was enough. He looked down at your hand, the soft skin warming him in the cold rain.

You nodded, shivering, "I gotta get home, t-thank you-"

"I'll walk you home." He responded, slowly pulling you to start walking.

You frowned, "I'm sorry, who are you?"

He never paused his steps, "Keith."

"Oh." You rolled your eyes, Thanks that answers a lot.

"I'm new to this school." He continued, looking back at you for your introduction.

"I'm (Y/n)." You told him, and finally allowed him to walk you home.

The entire way was quiet, and every once and a while you would turn to look at him, only to see his eyes on you.

As you finally arrived, you awkwardly nodded. "Thanks again...Keith."

His eyes followed you as you ran to your garage, dialed in the digits of the password, and turned back to wave as you ducked underneath the rising door. As the door closed, and finally shut with a bang, he stepped up your driveway. He examined the address and the padding on the garage password panel, before looking up at the window above it. Your form was visible through the partly closed shades. He grinned as you obliviously ran your hands through your hair and stripped your shirt, revealing your sports bra, before walking back the way he came.

Mullet Boy walked you home again. It wasn't raining, but there were dark skies, and he said that it would rain whilst you walked home, and you'd get soaked again. So you allowed him to follow next to you, his umbrella in the pocket of his bag.

The next day was sunny, and you insisted you didn't need him to walk you home, but he did. This time, without an excuse for a reason why.

"The weathers nice." You gripped the straps of your bag, pursed lips as the quiet tension soon got to you.

"Uh-I guess." He looked up at the blue skies and squinted. "I like rainy weather more."

You gave him a smile, "Me too."

He blushed, swiftly turning his gaze to the ground. You opened your mouth to reply to his behavior, but clammed it shut.

You sighed as you turned to corner, revealing your house.

"Thanks for walking me home again." You brushed a hair behind your ear, grinning, "See you tomorrow."

With that you left him, frozen on the sidewalk as he watched you leave.

"Why is this neighborhood so high priced?" Keith mumbled at a passing for sale sign to a neighboring house of yours. Once again, he has walked you home, and it was a few weeks into this new daily routine.
