~•~•~•

A/n- i kinda based this one shot off of a horror movie i watched but i'm gonna make this a series of different parts so i'm not going to say the movie until later so it won't spoil anything ;)

The Pines family was normal.

Dipper Pines was a tall and incredibly intelligent man. He was a hardworking novelist with a published and popular trilogy.

(Y/n) Pines had been working to become a nurse before giving birth to her unplanned daughter, which led her to quit her job and reside at home.

Their daughter, Serendipity (yall can change the name if you want this was the first thing that popped into my head), was an all A student with several skills both her partners knew she would go far with.

They held neighborhood get togethers once a month, had won the yard of the year, and each of the three were very popular amongst their age groups and peers.

That was until Serendipity's made a "new friend". His name was Bill, and he was imaginary. It didn't start off as terrible. Messes would be made around the house, and whenever you went to Serendipity, she would blame it on the new member of the household. She would ask for two plates and two glasses of apple juice. She would ask to leave out sandwiches with the crust cut from the ends and chips, neither of the two foods ever touching or Serendipity would throw a fit and ask for her mother to start over. Her grades in class began to drop and her friends slowly began to back away.

"Dipper." You pursed your lips as you threw down the pile of red papers onto the kitchen table, "Mind explaining?"

The shaggy haired brunette looked up at you, then to the papers, before signing and rubbing his temples, "She's a kid, (Y/n)-"

"Yeah? Well she was suspended today." You placed your palms on the table, "Seven warning notes. You signed each of them. Why wasn't I informed?"

"(Y/n)-"

You began picking up the notes and reading them off, "Not finishing assignments? Signed by Dipper Pines. Being rude to her classmates and teacher?" You laughed mockingly, "Signed by Dipper Pines. Threw a chair at a student?" You clicked your tongue on the rough of your mouth, "Would you look at that? Signed by Dipper Pines."

He dropped his head into his hands, letting out a huff before responding, "I didn't want to stress you-"

"Yeah well I'm wayyyy more than just stressed now." You mused, "I thought she was doing fine in school but Mrs Wendy had to call me for an in person meeting to explain to me why she will no longer be teaching our daughter."

Dipper finally looked up at you, "I'm sorry. You were working with her on this imaginary friend thing so I...I assumed this would work itself out on its own."

You bit your lip to contain your outburst before turning to look at your daughter who had just entered the kitchen. "Hi, Mommy! Can you make Bill and I a snack?" You glared at your husband, before placing on a smile and walking over to the brunette girl who held onto a stuffed bunny.

"Hey, Baby." You pulled her hair behind her ear, "Bill told me he ate while you were at the park so how 'bout I just make a plate for you, hm?"

Serendipity tilted her head, looking up to her left, before scowling, "He told me you're lying."

You huffed, "Seren...I-"

"I'll make you a sandwich, Darling." Dipper pipped in, not daring to meet your eyes before moving to pull out the ingredients from the fridge. You watched as your daughter grabbed two plates and two cups from the cupboards, setting them at the island before pulling out two seats. Just as Dipper began making the second sandwich, you stopped him, wrapping the bread up before putting it away. "Babe-"
