"Nah, I'm good." You shrugged, struggling against the females hair.

"Excuse me?" She scoffed, jabbing you with the frying pan, which she had knocked you out with now three times, "You're acting as if you even had a say in it."

You chuckled, "Listen, Sweetheart-"

"No, you listen, Sweetheart." She stalked around you, "You have no way out of this tower without me. You won't find your stupid... whatever it is-"

"Satchel."

"I didn't ask for your correction-"

"And I didn't ask to be tied to a chair. With your hair." You rolled your eyes, "If you want to go see those stupid lights-"

"They are not stupid! They-"

"Are you life and glory, blah blah blah. As I was saying before I was rudely interrupted." You sent her a glare, and she looked away with a huff, "If you want to go see those st-...lights, and I'm the one who's suppose to take you, I need something in return."

Crossing her arms, the blonde laughed at your words. "Something in return? You act as if you are tied to a chair in my home. And you'd get your pretty satchel and never have to worry about me again. If you don't agree with this, then you'll never get that." She hummed.

"Please, you don't have a bad hair on your golden head-"

She gripped the back of your chair, causing it to balance on the back two legs. "If you don't take me I will leave you tied up here to rot."

You watched her with wide eyes before snorting, "I'm tied with your hair. You're going to have to untie me at some point."

"What's wrong with taking me to the lights?"

"That I could possibly get seen...then captured...and then killed. And then get the satchel back right, because that was a deal we made?" You grinned, before laughing, "Sweetheart, I'm not risking my life for you. You may be gorgeous, but I have a life planned and it doesn't involve you or getting killed."

She watched you, her face a light shade up pink from your 'complement' and insult. She narrowed her eyes, "I may not have a bad hair on me but I doubt all of yours are. (That made sense, right?) I have been dreaming and praying my entire life to go see those lights. I cannot go alone and I need some to take me. And this is probably the only chance I will ever get to fulfill that dream. So please. If you have any heart in you at all...take me there. And I will give you your satchel and you can leave and do whatever you want with the rest of your life. Please." Her voice fell into a whisper by the end, her hold on the back of the chair loosening slightly as she bit her lip to hold in her tears.

Your examined her featured, your lip between your teeth as your mind repeated her words again and again. The silence between you both caused the blonde to hold her breath.

"I'd say it wouldn't hurt but that might jinx me." You laughed slightly, "But if it's the lights you want to see, then it's the lights I'll take you to see."

Her eyes widened as you smiled at her, and her face fell into a beam as she squealed, her hands coming to her face, "Really?"

You yelped as the chair fell back, your head hitting the floor. You groaned, holding you head in agony whilst glaring at her. She giggled awkwardly, scratching her arm, "Sorry...

"By the way," You winced, "I'm (Y/n)."

She grinned, pulling the chair up, "I'm Rapunzel."

Your eyes widened, "Rapunzel, there's a lizard on your shoulder."

You climbed down the wall of the tower, your blades between the rocks, "You coming, Punzie?" You hollered, looking back up to where she stood at the edge of the exit.

She ran her hands through her hair, Pascal perched on her shoulder.

"Y-yeah, hold on." She responded, her knuckles whitening as she squeezed her fingers around her locks of hair.

Suddenly, you glanced up only to see a blur of purple and blonde heading straight for you. You screamed, pulling yourself closer to the wall as Rapunzel passed you, screeching happily.

"Hey!" You snapped, continuing your climb. When you got to the bottom, she hung inches from the floor, eyeing the green strands of grass. Slowly, her foot pressed into the soil, and she giggled.

"Just smell the grass! The dirt! Just-"

"Don't you dare start singing." You warned, dusting off your arms and put your knifes back into their place on your belt.

"oh." She whispered, frowning sadly before yelling once more and running towards a puddle.

With a raised eyebrow, your eyes fell on the green reptile that sat on the ground, poking a rock with caution.

"Huh."

You turned around when you heard a singing voice, seeing Rapunzel running towards the exit of the meadow. You scratched your chin before laughing, picking up Pascal, you followed her out in a slow walk.
