You slammed the trunk, balancing a large box in your arms. You huffed, mentally scowling at yourself for not calling any of your family or friends to lend a hand. While most of your belongings were in the trunk due to come tomorrow, you had packed your car to the brim with what you could fit.

You had recently graduated from culinary school, and your trek through years of school gave you the dream of opening your own cafe-crossed-book store. You had already bought a small area on the town square, and though expensive, you were thankful to have come from a family who could afford to help.

As you were fiddling to find your keys to look the car, you caught movement in the corner of your eyes and saw a woman pulling the curtains back and eyeing you cautiously. You waved, sending a bright smile, which was returned w a tight lipped expression and a tight wave. The curtains pulled back and you frowned. "Alright, neighbor. Thanks for the kind greeting."

About an hour later, as you were blasting music and doing your best to organize what you had already moved in, there was a knock on your doors. You dusted your hands off on your patchwork jeans, not even minding to look out the window before pulling the door open.

There stood a couple, one being the woman you had interchanges "greetings" with earlier, the other being a dark haired male.

"Hey, how can I help you guys?"

"Uh, hello-hi," The woman took the lead in the conversation, "We saw you moving in and thought we'd-" She held out a platter, "I bake!"

Your eyes widened in surprise, and you felt the tensions in your shoulders ease, "Oh, you're too sweet, thank you!" You let her hand you the wrapped plate. "I have a cafe down 6, if you're thinking of quitting your job soon, I'm hiring." You winked, and she chuckled lightly.

"I have my own place, actually." She patted down her dress, "A Fresh Tart, if you've heard of it."

"I have! We both have a thing for puns." You mused, "I'm the owner of Bean Here."

She grinned, holding out a hand, "I'm Love."

"(Y/n)." You grasped her hand, shaking it before turning to the man next to her. "And you must be..."

The man who had been eyeing you carefully jumped as the conversation was turned to him, "Er, Joe. Pleasure to meet you."

You bummer, shaking his hand as well. "Well, I better get back to unpacking-"

"-Do you need a hand?" Love tilted her head, glancing inside your home.

"Oh, it's nothing but a few boxes. I'll take you up on that tomorrow when the truck comes in." You glanced between the two of them, "Both of you, if you can."

"Depending on the time, I'm sure I can have someone run the bakery so I can help a friend." Love scrunched her nose, and you mentally slapped yourself for blushing.

"I have an interview at the library early tomorrow but I'm sure I'll be free when you need me." Joe smiled, placing a hand on Love's back.

"If you're applying due to your love for books, I'd like to let you know my cafe is a bookstore as well, and I am hiring."
