You sat at your desk in the science lab, tapping furiously at a keyboard. You were writing a very important report, and it had to be turned in, in twenty minuets.

You finished the conclusion with five minutes to spare, and printed it out. You happily grabbed the paper, and turned to walk over to your superior, when your feet caught on wheels of your chair.

You cried out, and tried to brace yourself. But the fall never came. Instead, strong arms caught you. You looked up, and came face to face with a pair of warm, brown eyes. "Uh...ah...Mr.Spock!" You studdered, trying to form full sentences.

"You must be more careful, (y/n), accidents in the work place most commonly lead to serious injury." He said, helping you stand up all the way.

You decided that your mouth couldn't be trusted, and instead nodded you head. Suddenly remembering the papers, you held them up. "Your report, sir."

"Thank you, lieutenant. Right on time." Spock said, accepting the papers. He walked away, back to his desk, a ghost of a confident smile on his lips. Leaving you to wonder just what, exactly had happened.

He caught you, then walked away smiling. Well, almost smiling. But you'd caught it. You sat back down in your chair. Thinking hard.

Did Spock like you? You entertained that thought, but only for a moment. Why would he like you? You were just a lieutenant, he was not only a commander, but the first officer.

But even then, you snuck a small glance in his direction. He was looking at you, and you immediately turned your head back, your cheeks growing warm.

You didn't know if he liked you, but you liked him. A lot. You sighed, and grabbed your PADD, a little bored.

You noticed a message, and your heart skipped a beat. It was from Spock. You thought about not reading it until later, saying you hadn't seen it, but even then, you REALLY wanted to know what it said.

Your hand shaking slightly, you opened the message, hoping it was a letter asking you out.

Instead, it was a copy of your report, he had scanned it, and sent it to you, with typos and grammar mistakes circled in red. Your heart sank a little, that was, until you noticed the small note on the bottom.

I wish to take you on a date. I shall meet you in the observation deck at seven thirty. -Spock

You laughed giddily. It happened! It actually happened. Now, all you needed to do was wait until seven thirty.

And the rest is up to your imagination! ^_^

Whoo! I'm back! Kinda. Man, it feels good to update again.

So what's up people? How's life? I'm doing pretty good. Have a very important math test tomorrow, but eh, what can ya do?

So I have two stories to recommend for you. The first one, is by Juliet22Fujioka, it's called Star Trek: Love is a beautiful pain, and so far, it's pretty good.

The second one is by me. Its a Chekov story, Called Losing Mary, I've been told it's pretty good.

Well, if you're still reading this extremely long authors note, thank you! And don't forget to vote, and comment your requests!
