This was requested by Juliet22Fujioka, sorry it took me so long!
(By the way, in this one, Spock's mom is alive. Just....yeah, don't be commenting me saying she's dead, I know.)

You walked to the conference room. Worried. About three hours ago, the Enterprise received a distress call from News Vulcan.

Apparently a plague had been attacking the people there. Hundreds of people had died, and thousands were infected. Scientists were baffled by it. The pathogens were unlike anything they had ever seen.

What made it worse, was that it wasn't just attacking the Vulcans. It was attacking animals, humans, and other species on the planet.

Captain Kirk called you to the conference room, because you were a bloody brilliant doctor. Your mother was the one who cured most forms of cancer, and she passed her trade onto you.

You walked in, and took a seat beside your superior, Dr.McCoy. He nodded in acknowledgment, and you looked at the assembled group. The one who really caught your eye was the first officer, Spock.

You'd had a crush on him at the academy, but was too shy to actually talk to him. You and him ocasionally worked together on assignments. You looked up as Kirk walked in. He went to the front of the room, and went straight to business.

"Okay guys, here's the problem. New Vulcan is in trouble. We just now arrived, so I'll be sending Dr.McCoy, and (y/n), to get blood samples, and whatever stuff you need. Spock has requested to come as well to check on his parents. It's your decision over wither he goes."

"He can go. He is the science officer as well. He could help us too." You said, and Spock looked as though he were relieved, something only you seemed to have caught.

"Well okay then. That settles that. Let's head down to the transporter room."
Kirk said, you stood up, anxious to see just what kind of havoc the plague had reaped so far.

The yellow lights faded, and you instantly felt a little queasy. Count on the beaming process to make you feel bad.

You looked around, and marveled at the buildings around you. You had seen pictures of both Vulcan, and New Vulcan, none of them did any justice. They had tried to make this place look similar to the original planet, while also adding it's own type of flair.

"Wow!" You whispered, and Bones smiled. "This place is amazing!"

"Sure is. Hey (y/n), why don't you go with Spock. I can get all the samples myself. Besides, you look like you want to have a look around." McCoy told you.

"I do not mind you joining me, miss (y/l/n), I could show you my fathers extensive collection of Earthen literature books." Spock agreed, and you felt your cheeks grow even more warm than they were before. This planet was hot!

"Sure! Just comm us when you have everything." You told Bones, already walking away with Spock. He nodded, and waved. Then turned away, and headed in the direction of the science center.

"I must warn you, before we get to my parents house, my mother is...quiet impressionable." Spock told you, as the two of you stopped in front of a house that looked a little different than the others.
