THE SYSTEM: RESTART OR POWER OFF?

Year 4000, it must be the happiest day on earth for my parents because I was born.

Year 4010, I turned 10 years old and got interested on my parents' job. They're always talking about robotics and other things related to science. Sometimes, I always asked them why are they doing such difficult and confusing things.

"Soon, you'll know." my parents always answered me like that.

Hindi ko maintindihan ang mga pinaggagawa nila pero nagkakaroon ako ng interes sa mga pinaggawa nila. I went to our school which is located above the sky. Sasakay lamang kami ng elevator papunta doon at agad-agad nasa room na ako.

The school is just like a normal school. Mga normal subjects lang ang pinag-aralan namin like Math, English, Filipino, Science and others.

I always wanted to live a normal life but when I discovered my parents' job, I also want to study on their school but their school is no longer existing. Pinapaggiba iyon ng teachers ng mga normal schools dahil sa sobrang advance ng mga estudyante at guro doon, wala nang gustong mag-aral sa mga normal na paaralan at parang naiinis ako nang sinabi nila mommy iyon.

Pwede naman sigurong mag-apply ang mga normal teachers doon sa school na iyon? Hindi ba kaya ng kaalaman nila kaya hindi sila nag-apply? Base kasi sa mga sinasabi ng parents ko, the teachers of that school were crazy intellegent. As in, their intellegence was on an unreachable level that's why the teachers of the normal school got angry.

Year 4020, I turned 20 and I finally understood why the teachers of the normal schools got angry. My parents explained it to me. Buti nalang talaga hindi naging ganoon ang parents ko.

The teachers of that non-existing school were killers. They used their students for a test. They experimented the students that's why some students of their school were missing. Pinapatay nila ang mga estudyante at pagkatapos non ay ginagawa nilang robot. That issue blew up. Not only the teachers of the normal school got angry but also the parents and some students of that school.

Isa ang aking ina sa mga estudyanteng dinadala na sa laboratory para eksperimentuhan at buti nalang dumating ang aking ama at siya naging savior ni mama. They're in a relationship that time and I was shocked when I knew that she's 25 years old that time and 1 month pregnant at ako yung nasa tiyan niya, syempre dahil ako lang naman nagiging anak nila.

"Don't let those bad teachers ruin your life, use your brain, not only your eyes." that's what my daddy said.

Today is the day of my science class and now I am here on the same school waiting for my classmates to come. One subject per day. Here it comes, the most cold guy on this 'flying school'. His name is Screw. A weird name. Minsan nga, tinatawag namin siyang screw driver.

"Good morning." I said. He just looked at me and just nodded. "What a cold guy" I uttered the reason why he looked at me and greeted me back. "Good morning" he said. I smirked. He's always like that. Iinisin ko yan e hanggang sa mapikon.

Naging crush ko siya pero na-uncrush ko agad nong nireject niya ako nong nagconfess ako. Edi hanap ng bagong crush. Easy.

I was named the "mapang-asar robot" sa school na ito. Mapang-asar dahil totoo yun and robot? I don't know why but sabi nila ang katalinuhan ko ay parang isang robot daw. Masyadong advance. Pero only in science. Hindi talaga ako matalino, sa science lang talaga. Ewan ko ba sa kanila kung bakit nila ako tinatawag

"Te, may assignment ka? Pakopya" agad na bungad ng ni Hizre pagkapasok niya. Napatingin naman siya kay Screw kaya napatikom siya ng bibig. Lumapit siya sa akin at nagmamakaawa na papakopyahin siya sa assignment namin. At dahil nga close friend ko ito, pinakopya ko nalang siya.
