The Bow

There was a bow, who was getting tired of her pointless life.

Until one day, she woke up feeling heavier than usual.
She woke up with an arrow resting on her.

"Excuse me, have you seen the heart? "the arrow asked.
But the bow had not seen the heart,
And so she asked everyone she met if they had seen the heart who was no longer pierced through the arrow.
But everyone denied that they had seen it. Each would say "I have not seen a lost heart."

As the bow and arrow continued the search, the bow noticed that the arrow was getting lighter, and that he was ready to move on.

And so the bow pulled back her string, and launched the arrow into the sky. She watched him soar, moving further and further away from her, and he never looked back.

The bow who used to have an arrow resting on her tried to move on, but she was dragging herself down.

The bow could not understand why she felt heavier, when she knew from the start, that although they make a great team, with parts that fit perfectly together:

the arrow was never meant to stay on a bow.
