A semi-ordinary teenage girl who has had to fend for herself for many years due to emotional neglect from her parents, taking part in an underground adrenaline rush just to find a sense of herself, finds herself with a yellow camaro that her dad graciously agreed to help pay for. A camaro with a secret and a war brewing from the stars arriving to the planet. A war that was not her own, but she will come to learn as part of her family's legacy.

Facing the dangers that come with the beings from the stars, the leading commander of the autobots finds himself looking at this young human in a way he has not looked at another for a very long time. Her fiery nature is a shield, one he could see through upon their first meeting. One he learns she has built around herself to protect herself from pain.

As for the girl...there is more to this autobot leader than meets the eye. She slowly finds herself a new family to surround her with affection she has never had in her life. It is alien to her, just as alien as the autobots themselves. However...that is just what interests her. Especially Optimus Prime.All Rights Reserved

When she does manage to flee and attempt to get back to her boyfriend, bricks of truths fall upon her in ways she never imagined. And when the autobots find her again, she finds a new friend within the autobot who came to her by chance when she bought herself a new car. Even Optimus will feel his wall fall away slowly the more time is spent with this girl. And he learns there is more to humans than meets the eye. And when a darker threat reveals itself in a way they never though possible, and a possible way back to Cybertron, Optimus sees the courage in this girl even more. However, when they realize just how deep her pain truly was and how far she is willing to end it, Optimus is unwilling to give up on her. She does not understand his reasons, they slowly become clear. And when she finally runs in with Optimus's arch enemy, she finds herself eyeing off a certain decepticon leader in a way that she should not have. And she did not know why. Megatron himself feels he simply had taken something so precious from Prime, and enjoys watching the autobot panic in trying to find her. But, the girl began to confuse his spark. So much so he questions so much about himself.
