And due to a lack of Energon, he collapsed, with the last thing he witnessed was the Ark blasting off to the space portal above Cybertron before succumbing to energon loss. But Primus, who had secretly witnessed Metroplex's selfless act, knew Metroplex was still needed. The Autobots on Earth were outmatched, and a great darkness would rise in the future. Primus knew they needed help, and before Metroplex passed into the Allspark, he spoke to the titan, telling him he was still needed and that Optimus is calling for help. To which Primus revives and reconfigures Metroplex's body to scale better with Optimus and his team and brings the titan back to life. And now Metroplex goes to Earth and once more heeds the call of the last Prime.
