3rd Pov.
Bonnie: You know you can talk to me, right? I was dishonest when I first met you, but I swear on everything holy that'll never happen again. You can trust me.
The two look at Bonnie and despite what had happened before hand, the decide to trust her. Clementine and Y/n pull out the radios that they had taken. Unfortunately Kenny didn't have time to take one so they both landed in their possession. Bonnie looks at the radios, shocked.
Clementine: Bonnie... Luke's waiting for us to give one of these to him. He needs it.
Bonnie: Kids!
Y/n: Look, Bonnie, all we need is for you to not give a shit where we are for a couple of minutes. Fifteen max.
Bonnie thinks for a moment before silently cursing to herself.
Bonnie: If you get caught and you mention my name, Carver will be the least of your troubles. Okay?
They nod.
Bonnie: Well, what are you waiting for?
The two look at each other and nod before slipping out of the armory and heading towards the door to the outside area. They look around for a second to see that the coast is clear before the duo sneak towards the door.
Y/n: Low and quick.
Clementine: I thought the expression was, "Low and slow"?
Y/n shrugs.
Y/n: I don't think we have the time for the second part.
Leading them, Y/n gets them to the door that leads to the comic store while Troy and Madison are nearby watching Kenny work along with Mike in the clothing store. Troy yells at them while Madison picks at her nails.
Troy: Y'all better hurry that shit up. I hate babysitting you assholes.
Clementine: (Whisper) What a couple of assholes.
Y/n nods in agreement and they enter the comic book store, looking around at the mostly empty area. There are stains covering the floor and it's quiet inside, too quiet. Clem goes to speak but is stopped by Y/n.
Y/n: Shh. We've gotta stay quiet.
She nods and they two start to look around the comic book store for any sign of Luke, but there's nothing. Like he was never there to begin with. Clem checks behind of the shelves, nothing. Y/n checks behind the nearby counter but he only finds an "Invincible" comic book followed by one called "Tech Jacket".
Y/n: Oh hey, I read that one before. Mark Grayson, cool guy. He kind of reminds me of that asian guy, Glenn. Totally could of played him if the world never fell apart.
He shrugs and turns back to look at Clem who stares back at him.
Clementine: Nothing?
Y/n: Nothing.
Clementine: Fuck. Let's get back.
As the two head out the door of the comic book store, they don't hear Madison and Troy screaming at Kenny and Mike.
Y/n: Wait, where's-
Troy: Hey! You ain't supposed to be out here!
Clementine: Shit.
Troy and Madison walk over to the two as Kenny stands behind them with Mike. Before either can say anything, Madison grabs them by the backs of their shirt collars, pushing them toward Kenny and Mike.
Kenny: Hey!
Madison looks at the kids
Madison: Oh... You two have done it now. Just wait until later.
Troy and Madison brings the group back to the yard. Carlos is attending to an injured Luke, and Carver paces nearby, clearly upset. They also spot Luke, who'd been captured by the others not too long ago.
Troy: Get over there.
They walk over to the others and stand by Carley and Molly. Kenny is beside them as well.
Carver: And how is it that we're repaid for our trust? With treachery? With deceit? With theft?
Clementine looks at Y/n and whispers.
Clementine: They caught him.
Y/n: Looks like it.
Kenny: Shit. Just our fucking luck.
Carver: Whatever you were planning is over, it's done. You can't just run from your problems. You can't just up and leave when it gets tough, 'cause there's nowhere else you can go where it ain't. Tough is all we got now. Get that through your fuckin' skulls.
He points to Luke.
Carver: Luke here, he can't help you now. You gotta help yourselves. You gotta help me find the strength to forgive you. Now, you can start by telling me where the radios are. I'm gonna count to three. If those radios ain't in my hand by then, we'll have to make things more difficult. One. Two.
Before he can finish, Y/n steps forward much to the surprise of the others. Kenny tries to reach out and take the radio from him before Carver notices, but it's too late. Y/n holds up both of the radios.
Y/n: Howdy, partner.
Y/n starts walking over to Carver who had stopped counting. Everyone watches as Y/n takes the radio and places it his hand.
Carver: Three.
Y/n: You asshole.
However instead of getting hit with with the radio, Carver pulls out his revolver and aims it at Carley which again surprises everyone.
Y/n: What the fuck?! I was the one with the radio, not her!
Carver: I heard from Madison what you're capable of and if I can't teach you a physical lesson, well then... I'll just have to teach you this way.
Everyone stares in shock and Molly tries to get in front of Carley to shield her, but Carley just walks forward with her arms to her side. She glares at Carver and his people as her fists start clenching.
Carley: If this is what it takes to satisfy your anger, then go ahead asshole. But please, don't hurt my son.
Carver pulls back the hammer on his revolver, but Y/n stops him.
Y/n: Wait!
Carver and the other guards look at him as he steps in front of Carley.
Y/n: You... You can hurt me. I just have to shut off my power.
Carver looks at him for a moment, trying to figure out if he's lying or not as does Madison. But considering all the looks he's getting from his friends, he's betting on him telling the truth. So, Carver nods and puts away his revolver.
Carver: Alright, enlighten us.
Y/n: Water...it's my Achilles Heel. If I stand in deep water I start to feel dizzy...
Carley calls out to him, not wanting him to suffer for her.
Carley: Y/n, stop! Don't do this for me.
But as stubborn as he is, he doesn't listen and just looks back to Carver.
Y/n: And if I'm submerged past my waist, my power is completely nullified and I won't be able to move. Just fill up something, I'll hop inside, and you can beat me as much as you want. Just don't hurt the others.
Madison smiles and looks at Carver.
Madison: I like that deal, dad. Come on... I've got something I've been wanting to try.
Carver nods and looks at Troy.
Carver: Go get the big steel drum.
Madison looks at Bonnie.
Madison: Grab the branding iron out of my room.
Troy smiles and walks out of the room with Bonnie watching the scene in slight terror. Bonnie looks at Y/n and he nods to her, so she leaves while shaking her head. The entire time everyone else is taking their time just to process what's about to happen. Clem is shaking, Carley & Molly are starting to breath heavy as Kenny clenches his fists in anger, unable to do anything. What's about to happen... It's going to hurt. Y/n turns back to others, tipping his hat to them.
Y/n: (Mind) This is going to hurt like hell. But at least they'll be safe.
