"Only if you're on the menu.", she couldn't help but comment.

Piper gave her the dirty look;
"My wife is off the menu. Forever."

"Geez Chapman, relax. It's just me being me.", Nicky chuckled;
"Alright. I'll stay for a little longer."

"Cool. What do you want to eat? And something other than me, Nicky.",
I raised my eyebrow.

"Let's uhh, order take out? Shake Shack?"

"Deal."

I called the restaurant and put in our order.

The doorbell rang.

"I got it!", I shouted and got up from the couch. I took some money out of my jacket pocket and walked towards the door.
I opened it and looked down at my hands, counting the money;

"How much do I owe you?"

"Your life.", a voice said.

"What?", I chuckled and looked up.
I couldn't believe who I saw.

Before I knew it, his hand was over my mouth, making it hard for me to breathe and impossible for me to scream. I was dragged across the hallway, towards the bathroom.
He pushed me into the bathtub and locked the bathroom door.
I put my hands over my knees and my whole body was shaking.

"What do you want from me?", I asked in a shaky voice.

"Shut the fuck up!", he said and slapped me across the face.

"Al? Is the food here?", Piper's ever so sweet and innocent voice echoed off the hallway walls.
I looked up at him with a desperate look on my face and opened my mouth, preparing to scream.

"Don't you even think about it.", he hissed at me and poitned his gun to my head.

"Al?", Piper knocked on the bathroom door.

He looked at me and I looked at him.
Piper tried to open the door when she realized it was locked.

"Alex? Are you fucking without me? Open the door."

"She's not going away, you know.", I whispered to him.

"Fucking make her go away.", he said and pointed the gun back at me;
"Take care of this. Now."

I stood up and leaned against the bathroom door;

"Hey babe. I'm taking a shower. I'll be back soon."

"But Al, Nicky is gonna share some of her epic fails with random girls she picked up since she's been out."

I smiled because of how much I loved her and tears came to my eyes at the thought of never seeing her again.

He grabbed my arm and squeezed it so tight, it hurt.

"Ow!"

"What's happening?", Piper was worried.
