The car stopped.

"We're here.", he said.
It was a complex of condos.

"This is your place? Well, my place now.", I winked at him.

"Not exactly. This is..the place. This is..This is where she lives. In one of these condos. You'll see her last name on a doorbell tag. Just ring that one."

"Now?! I have to do this NOW? But I haven't even showered. Or got out of these clothes. Or had my coffee yet."

"I don't care. If you want a place to stay at, you do this now. First you have to fix this. Then you can have your coffees and your showers and play dress up and do whatever you want. You can literally do whatever you want. You are out of prison after all.", he said with a stupid look on his face.

I opened the car door.

"Fine."

Larry stepped out of the car.

"What are you doing?", I asked.

"Just making sure you go in. Don't worry, I won't go with you. Wouldn't wanna ruin your romance." he said and winked.

I glanced at him and couldn't help myself from shouting;

"You're so annoying."

"You're welcome!", he shouted back.

Here we go. One doorbell away from her.
What if she won't want to see me?
What if this is it?
What if she does hate me?
What if this was all a big mistake?
What if she's hurt?
All those what-if's washed over my thoughts and I couldn't think anymore. I had to shut my own thoughts up. I rang the door bell.
Nothing.
I rang it again.
Nothing.
What the fuck?
