Placing the oversized bowl of hot butter popcorn down on the coffee table, you assessed the other snacks laid out. The sour cream and chives crisps, small squares of chocolate, and jelly beans covered the table, in their own bowls. "Fisher, all set up. You joining me?" Fisher entered the room, "No need to yell, I'm coming." Fisher handed you a bottle of ginger beer, he collapsed on the couch, and took a swig from his own bottle. You dropped onto the couch beside him. "What are we watching?" You asked, Fisher raised his eyebrows, "Not Avatar." He mocked a pout, "scary movies, then?" he conceded, rolling your eyes you nodded. You pressed play on the movie already queued up. "You knew I'd cave didn't you?" Fisher asked you amusement lacing his tone. You smirked and sipped at your drink while the opening song played. Turning your attention back to the screen, you missed Fisher's mask slip and give you a fond look.

You rose up in your seat, shouting at screen and the fictitious characters who couldn't hear you. "No, don't split up, you idiots! It'll be easier for him to kill you. Morons." The last word was muttered into the lip of your bottle as you took a sip of your drink, the ginger sharp on your tongue. Fisher chuckled, you flicked a look over at him, "laugh it up, prince of doom and gloom." Fisher rolled his eyes at you as one of the characters was brutally murdered on screen. You grabbed a handful of popcorn and ate multiple pieces at once by shoving it in your mouth. Fisher gave a look, before doing something similar albeit with a smaller handful. You grinned at him and went back to watching the horror unfold on the screen. Settling back on the couch, you took a handful of jelly beans, and began to eat them one at time, while you watched the final showdown.

The second film started up and you managed to keep your commentary to a minimum. Except when the most clichéd moments occurred. On screen, a female character was alone in her house, a noise drew her attention. "Hello?" She called out, you snorted, "Right, honey because the sociopathic murderer hiding in the shadows is really going to answer you." Fisher chuckled, he didn't complain like he usually did when someone interrupted his movies, however that person was all most always Hodgins, so maybe it was different. You watched as the murder scene was bloody, Fisher's attention was drawn to you. His eyes flickered over your face, trailing down from your eyes with were illuminated by the moonlight the peaked through the gap in the curtains, shadows danced across you as you shifted in your seat. Bright flashes of lightning from the film flashed across your face. You grinned wickedly as the heroine screamed in fright on screen.

Fisher leaned his head back resting on the cushions and allowed his eyes to roam over your face. You leaned back as well the screen still keeping your attention, you seemed to sense Fisher's eyes on you at some point as the room seemingly rose in temperature slightly causing your cheeks to flush. Your eyes flicker to your lap as you rolled your head to face Fisher before they blinked upwards to gaze at him. He leaned forwards slightly but didn't move into your space by much allowing you to decide the next move. You leaned forwards, his cologne teased your senses overwhelming you with the idea of what it would be like to kiss him. Your eyes fluttered shut. Leaning further forward, you pressed your lips to his. He kissed back, his lips warm and soft. The soft pressure weakened your knees, and you were thankful that you were sitting on the couch. You rose up towards Fisher, deepening the kiss as you brushed your tongue along the seam of his lips. He opened his mouth and began to push back with more pressure. He wrapped his arms around your waist and lifted you into his lap for a more comfortable position, you slotted yourself across his lap, your knees either side of his legs. You pulled back, both of you were breathing heavily and the heroine screamed in the background as you leaned back in for another kiss and Fisher slid a hand up to cradle the back of your head.
