You crouched on the rooftop, your suit clinging to you, it had been made to fit your form comfortably. The super-suit you wore was mostly black as it helped you hide in the shadows; that dominated Gotham city. Your suit also had piping of silver and grey, as an illusion to your abilities. As usual you wore no cape, you found it was a hindrance to your abilities as well as adding unnecessary extravagance. You donned a simple yet effective mask concealing your identity. "Hello Nightwing." There was a husky chuckle, "how did you know I was here, Shadow?" You smirked, "I could hear you a few rooftops away." You paused, turned to look at him. His strong jaw seemed razor sharp in the moonlight. "Plus, the shadows speak to me." Nightwing looked at you curiously, "Shadows don't speak." You smirked once more, "They do to me, or have you forgotten who I am?" Nightwing grinned at you. You swung your legs over the side of the side of the building, you got comfortable. Nightwing joined you.

You could smell the cologne he used, it was his usual scent, and it danced in the air and teased you with memories with each other. You looked over at him, he was focussed on the distance, his azure eyes appearing darker than normal due to the black mask around his eyes. You noticed that he wasn't wearing the light blue mask as he usually did instead, he wore the black one you had given him. He seemed to sense your eyes on him or at least see you looking at him from the corner of his eyes. He smiled softly and leaned in towards you. "Like what you see, Y/N?" His teasing voice sent shivers along your spine and raised the hairs on the back of your neck. "You already know the answer, Richard." You teased him back, your voice soft and light. "I always love it when you called me that." He grinned and seemed to pull away when you both heard a heavy thud.

You jumped to your feet as did Nightwing. Using your powers, you pulled the shadows away from where the sound had occurred and towards yourself cloaking both you and Nightwing but still letting you see your opponent. Nightwing smirked, "This is such a neat trick." He stage whispered. You rolled your eyes, you pushed the shadows out and ensnared the attacker with the shadows holding him in the air. "Red Hood." You smiled softly. "Hey, babe." You scrunched you nose. "Don't call me that." Nightwing leaned against the wall. "Babe?" He asked, raising his eyebrow. You huffed, turning your attention back to Red Hood. "Why are you here, Jason?" He grinned, you leaned up and removed the helmet, mask, whatever the hell it was.

Jason leaned down as best he could with all your shadows holding him back. "Just wanted to let you know that I'm back in town, dear." You let him fall, he managed to land on his feet, he grabbed the red hood and jumped off the roof.

You rolled your eyes and the shadows went back to normal or whatever was normal for Gotham. Dick pushed off the wall and walked over to you. You turned to face him. He stood close to you, you could smell his cologne, it overpowered your senses. He pulled you into his body, one arm around your waist, one hand cupping the back of your head gently. "That was brilliant." You shrugged, winding your arms around his neck. Dick dipped his head and kissed your right cheek, he pulled away but stayed close. He kissed the corner of your right side of your lips, he hovered over your lips but didn't kiss them, instead he moved to the other side and kissed your left cheek. Your breathing was getting shaky as he moved and attempted to kiss the corner of your lips, but you tilted your head and captured his lips with yours. He pulled you even closer, his lips pressed against yours, you lost count of the times his lips parted from yours to simply return. He pulled away from you by inches. You spoke, your breath ghosting over his lips. "I'm so lucky to be in love with you." He grinned and leaned up towards you and kissed you deeply again. "The lucks all mine, my love."
