You lay on your back, hair falling over the end of the hotel bed you were sprawled on. Tilting your head back you could see that James was currently staring out the window occasionally raising the binoculars to his ice blue eyes. He was steadfast in keeping watch on the building the pair of you had been assigned. You adjusted yourself once more, so your head was on the mattress and began to reread the letter you had been translating. "Anything?" You asked James as he moodily stared outside. He shook his head, still peering through the binoculars, "You?" You gave a noncommittal shrug. "This one seems to be exactly the same as the last." You picked up another letter.

James sighed. "Wait." You pulled yourself up into a sitting position. "This one is different. It says that they are going to come for the recipient's birthday." James looked at you confused. You rolled your eyes. "They've been using code names; the recipient of this letter is for Oppenheimer." James' eyes widened, connecting the dots, but still not entirely getting it. "It's a few months past his birthday though and his death." James explained, he chanced another look out the window. A truck was pulling up. "No." You stood, "But tomorrow is the day that first atomic bomb was detonated. That has to be the day they are talking about. The question is what they are going to do." You looked over at James from where you had been pacing. He pursed his lips and furrowed his eyebrows, "July 16th, you moron!" He looked offended at the name calling. "Which is tomorrow." You gave him an are you kidding me look. James tried to explain himself, "Same stakeout for three days, straight." He reminded you. You simply rolled your eyes and waved your hand already calling Moneypenny to inform M.

As you were on the phone, you and James saw another van pull up and out jumped gunmen. You told Moneypenny what was going on before grabbing the gear you needed and racing over to the warehouse.

You hovered by the entrance to the warehouse. James gave the signal and he entered first. He let off a series of shots, each hitting their mark. You followed behind and covered him. The pair of you made your way to the centre of the warehouse where the bomb was supposedly being held. When you found it you sealed all but one of the exits. You called M while Bond called Q for advice on how to deactivate the bomb. You kept an eye on the door, while on the phone. You twisted, firing three shots after reloading, all three men dropped. James inspected the bomb, a small light flashed green for a moment then red. You looked over at the bomb, "Run!" James shouted, he dashed for the door, shoving your shoulder pushing you out into the hallway. You ran with James, ducking to avoid the bullets flying at the pair of you, while occasionally firing some back. You made it outside and a few metres away. Thankfully the building had been in an abandoned town so there was no one else around.

There was a deafening sound and you and James were rocked by the following aftershock. The building burst into flames. You looked over at James feeling the heat on your skin. "Well bang goes that mission." There was the sound of someone clearing their throat. You and Bond spun around. M was standing there, his suit was crisp and he was illuminated by the flames flickering in front of him. He simply raised his eyebrows at the pair of you. You took a deep breath, widening your eyes and attempting to look innocent, before pointing at Bond. "He did it."
