You held the sword loosely in your hand, swinging it around and slicing at the air when your opponent dodged. You fought against Sif, she was one of the best swordswomen in Asgard. Your sword clanged the metal striking hers, with determination. You moved forward lunging towards the brunette, she moved swiftly away from you and attempted to step behind you. However, you managed to use one of the tricks that Frigga had taught you ducking under her arm you appeared behind her. You kicked the back of her knees and drew your sword to her throat. "Yield." The word felt foreign to Sif's ears. She huffed and flicked her hair slightly, "I don't yield." Her sword arm was held parallel to the ground held in place with a small knife at her wrist. She tossed her body, but you drew your knife closer to the skin at her neck. Drawing her closer to your body and even more off balance. "Yield." Your voice was harsher. Loki and Thor both leaned closer wishing to see what was going to happen next. The rest of the Warriors Four had stopped their own fights to witness Sif's impending defeat. Loki drew his bottom lip between his teeth. Thor was grinning madly, he had seen you in action before the way. Thor had seen the knife skills you had, he also knew that you were able to defeat Sif. "I yield."

There was dead silence moving throughout the sparring area. Someone dropped their shield. There was a sharp intake of breath as you released Sif. She picked up her sword and clasped your offered hand as you pulled her from her kneeling positions. There was the sound of clapping hands, similar to the sound of thunder moving through the clouds. You and Sif turned to face the stands, Thor was standing clapping his large hands creating a resounding echo around the colosseum. Sif and you grinned at each other, moving together towards the Odinson boys. Sif added a slight sway to her hips, but the god whose affections she sought had been captured by another, a mortal girl. The other Odinson followed you with his deep green eyes. Thor hugged you close when you arrived with Sif, he clapped a hand on her shoulder and she gazed up at him through her lashes. Thor smiled broadly at both of you. "Well done, no one has been able to beat Sif in a fight quite like that." Thor's voice boomed around the arena. The others had began picking up their weapons which had clattered to the floor and gotten back to their own battles. Loki's eyes travelled over you carefully as if he was afraid his very look would hurt you.

You turned to face the prince, he noticed that you had caught him staring and gave a slight knowing smirk. "I do not think we have properly met my lady..." His light lilting voice trailed off when he realised that he did not know your name. Neither of you noticed Thor and Sif disappearing, they had decided to leave the pair of you together to see how it would play out. "Y/N." Loki took your offered hand and raised the back of it to his lips. He placed a delicate slightly lingering kiss on your knuckles. You gave a sugary sweet smile with a hidden warning. You received your hand back. You stepped away, towards the stand and grasped the light fabric of your cloak. You began to sweep it around your shoulders when Loki stepped forwards. "May I be of assistance?" He asked lightly, you nodded, Loki took the cloak from your hands and stepped closer leaning slightly into your space. He drew it around your shoulders, his long fingers brushed your exposed collar bone, as he began to fasten it around your throat. You glanced up at him slightly through your lashes. He kept his eyes down and straightened out your cloak slightly. "May I walk you back to your chambers?" He asked in almost a whisper. You nodded, your voice had left you, and moved to walk past him. Your hand brushed his slightly, you felt his fingers twitch towards yours seemingly without his knowledge as if his own subconscious was fighting against his own self-control.
