You arched your back, trying and failing to fix the ache that resided in your lower back. You were seven months along in your pregnancy, you glanced over your desk a photo stood shining back at you. One from your wedding, your twin sister Kensi Blye smiling from beside you and your husband, G. Callen was smiling down at you as you grinned obliviously at the camera. On occasion, your sister's boyfriend and partner, Deeks would get who was who wrong. You stood, though it was a struggle and began to walk to the team's bullpen. You had once been a field agent but since you fell pregnant, you had decided to work as an analyst. You would assist the team from OPS, just not from the same room as Eric and Nell as you didn't want to keep climbing the stairs.

You arrived at the bullpen and handed out the information you had found. You paced as bit as you explained the information, it had always been a habit of yours and at the moment it was way of relieving the aching pain of your lower back. Callen had begun to glare slightly as you spoke, you passed it off as annoyance towards the suspects but the was not the case. You had been walking for around ten minutes when you finished your debriefing. When you checked your watch, realising it was almost time your doctor's appointment. "I have to go, I have a doctor's appointment. Are you coming?" You turned to G. He gave a curt grunt and grabbed his coat gesturing for you to lead the way. You rolled your eyes at his childishness, grabbing your bag.

You both walked down the street to where Callen had parked. "What is with, G.?" He whirled around to face you. "What is with me? You're being reckless."

"How am I being reckless? I have done nothing that would even factor as reckless. I haven't gone out in the field since I found out I was pregnant, I don't spar or anything like that. I haven't eaten anything that could be harmful. What the hell did I do wrong?" You were nearing tears, the hormones wreaking havoc with your emotions.

A car began to drive down the street, which wasn't unusual but this one was, it had tinted windows and began to speed up as it came closer to you and Callen. "G.! Look out!" The pair of you ducked and moved around the car in order to use it for cover. Callen managed to fire off a few shots. You gasped as one of the rounds managed to wing you. Callen called Sam and a few medics from OPS arrived to check your wounds. They took you to the nearest doctor's office. You were checked out. You were fine, it was a minor flesh wound. Callen approached you as you waited for the results of the latest ultra-sound. "I'm sorry." You turned to face your husband. "You haven't been reckless, I have been too over protective. I shouldn't have taken my insecurities out on you." You smiled at him, taking his hand and kissing his knuckles. "I forgive you. You have nothing to worry about. You are going be a great father." He kissed your forehead. "I love you." You grinned as the doctor the came back in. "Everything is normal and progressing as well as it should." You both thanked the doctor and moved back outside the practice, where Deeks and Kensi were leaning against their car. Callen turned to face you, he brushed a lock of hair out of your face. "I love you." He leaned in as much as your stomach would allow and kissed you. "Let's get back to work, we still have a heap of bad guys to catch."
