I didn't know happiness, love, or kindness. My whole life I was a hostage and always got beaten or raped. I rarely ate and when I did, I had to beg for it. They didn't care if I was cold or sick, instead they would beat me more if I ever complained. Today was the worse. I was being punched, kicked, and slapped which hurt like hell. Then I met Magnus who would pay for me to be free and I never thought it would lead to a relationship.

Two years later

"Alec, darling, wake up," Magnus whispered before kissing me causing me to smile. "I'm awake! Now what?" I asked, curiously.
"I have something to show you"
I smiled before kissing my lover passionately. "What was that for?" Magnus asked when he pulled away. "To thank you for making me safe," I replied.
"That's why I rescued you"
"Anyway, you said you have to show me something?"
