    Magnus's POV 
    "Get out! Leave me alone!" was my last memory. I remembered Alec walking inside my apartment to see demons circling me and I couldn't control them. The demons attacked Alec, who was defenseless, and tried to kill him. "Alec!" I screamed running over to my shadowhunter trying to heal him but I couldn't. He died in my arms and it was all my fault. I wouldn't talk to anyone, not even his parabatai who tried to convince me it wasn't my fault and I yelled at him to leave me alone. I regret killing my shadowhunter who was also mine.
