Chapter 67: His Worry

It was silent as we slipped through the trees. Much too quiet.

Still it gave me time to think.

This person is like Eren which means they can regenerate in and out of Titan form.

Annie fits the profile in many ways.

First of all, she is smart. She used Marco's gear in order to not get caught during inspection. How do I know this?

She acted suspicious when I arrived at the scene of the crime. She gave me details she doesn't know about. If she were the killer of Sawney and Bean she'd have to use another person's gear.

It makes sense that she'd trade hers out for Marco's during the inspection.

Second, she is in the ranks of the Military Police. She wouldn't join the Garrison because she seems like the type that would rather get information from the brass rather than guard the Walls.

No one would likely notice her absence for a day or two if she left the building. She'd need someone on the inside to tell her things like Reiner or Bertholdt who I've seen her with a lot.

It had to be Reiner, she doesn't seem like someone who would want to hang out with Jean and Armin would tell people instantly.

Both of those boys are in the Scouts and Reiner wanted to know where Eren was located.

How he told her is unknown to me.

Thirdly, since she knows all maneuvers of the gear from training, she has the knowledge to protect herself against it. She shows hardly any emotion which makes her twice as likely to be in that Titan.

Abnormals aren't intelligent like that. All three Titans besides Eren, have shown intelligence.

I have already pinned who I think they are.

I saw the trio at Trost, escaping the area where I heard the screams. Marco. The Colossal broke the first gate, but the plan was halted by Marco finding out their secret.

Silence the informant, no time to continue the plan.

If Annie is the Female Titan, then who are her companions?

The Colossal Titan comes first, followed by the Armored Titan.

Assuming the trio really is in cahoots with one another, Reiner would be the Armored Titan. Bertholdt would be the Colossal.

Based on appearance from Eren's Titan, looks play into the transformation.

How they get the ability, I'm not sure. All I can assume from this situation is that she has far more experience than Eren. That could mean she has more powers and abilities.

She could be able to transform more. If that's the case, that must be her after us. Levi would never signal unless he absolutely needed to.

I need to be alert and careful. This is an unpredictable situation.

My eyes scanned the trees that blurred past us nervously. I felt her closing in like a predator on her prey.

It was only a matter of time. No one else seemed to feel my tension as we traveled, but the pressure of her approaching presence made me feel nauseous.

Suddenly, movement from our left caught mine and Gunther's eyes simultaneously.

A person with our uniform was next to us, blades drawn and hood up. Definitely not Levi.
