Thought the picture was accurate and hilarious. Levi receiving a hug would definitely go like this unless he initiated it. Hope you like the chapter, this one took me forever due to things happening in my life.

Here's the thing about being silent on the battlefield; you can't warn anyone, you can't communicate, and you can't tell anyone how low your gas is.

Being a temporary mute only made things harder for everyone, and I knew why I had become a mute.

It was the combination of trauma and damage caused to my head. Interesting stuff, huh? Yeah, totally.

I had no idea if it would actually be just a temporary condition, but it was still shocking.

It was very important to talk to people in this occupation, but I could make this work.

When my hand retracted from my head, it came back with blood coating my fingertips.

Think, Olivia. How severe is it? Do you need to look at it to know?

Carefully, my hand rose to my head and felt for any cracks in my skull.

Pain swept me up in another wave as my fingers danced across a gash a few inches back from my hairline. It felt deep, but I didn't want to find out how far it went.

Okay, you need stitches. Now... Concussion symptoms...

Headache? Acute and persistent. That's one.

Dizziness? Definitely. That's number two.

Fatigue? Feel like I haven't slept in months.... Check!

Cognitive abilities?

I tried to speak and stand, but that failed. In addition, minutes ago I didn't realize who anyone was, and I had a hard time hearing.

Definitely a concussion. I concluded tiredly. I need to find those Cadets.

With what strength was left in my body I got to my feet. My hands found a roll of bandages on my body and I slowly wrapped my head.

Throbbing in my body told me I'd have bruises later. Again, that's the least of my worries. Still, it would be a pain in the ass later.

I glanced around and then heard a shrill scream from not too far away. Without hesitation, I was off.

My body was sluggish and I felt like I was going to fall asleep at any moment.

Focus is a requirement of being able to do this occupation properly. Now, it was stripped from me, leaving my mind barren and fuzzy.

I made my way to the location of the scream and found Armin reaching out to a... Bearded titan?

Am I seeing that right?

Yeah, there were titans like that but it was hard to tell with my head the way it was.

Also, why was he reaching for it? Did something happen?

A small pinch of strength was granted to me and I reached Armin as the titan just started to walk away.

What the fuck is happening?

I knelt down and almost fell into him. My hands rested on his shoulders. They were slimy and overall, disgusting to feel on the fingers.

Was he almost devoured?

My eyes scanned his face and all I saw was myself when my sister was crushed. Devastating pain was tearing through him and shutting him down. He was grieving for someone, and his subconscious was trying to store it all away.
