Chapter 31

Maya's POV

I was woken up by my alarm. I looked at the screen. Monday 5:00 am. I groaned as I turned it of and listed everything I had to do today.

It was my first day back as Captain and Emma's first full day in daycare.

My shift started at 7:30 so I had plenty of time to get ready with my girls.

I turned my head and admire the sight of the most beautiful woman I've ever seen. On some mornings I still thought I was dreaming. Especially if Emma was snuggled up in Carina's embrace. How could I not question how lucky I was?

"Bella" Carina mumbled in her sleep. She wiggled towards me and with a satisfying smile she rested her head on my shoulder. It was a little too early for her to get up. After a few minutes I heard Emma's door open and shortly after that ours.

"Good morning Princess" I smiled at her holding Carina close to me. "Why so early?" I asked as she rubbed her eyes

"Alarm" she said still sleepy

"Ohh sorry Emma" I felt awful for waking her up that early "Come here Princess" She walked to my other side and I scooped her up with my free hand. She laid down on my chest with her hand over Carina's body

"Shh let Mamma sleep" she said slowly and I knew she just wanted to join her. I just laid there stroking my girls backs and I felt at peace.

I looked at my sleeping girls on my chest with with a soft smile.

It was a new feeling for me. To be a part of a family. To take care of a child. Carina was incredibly patient with me and helped me through every little problem which came up during this two weeks. I started to feel more confident as a mom and not questioning everything I did.

Carina was the first who opened her eyes. She lifted her head up and kissed my cheek. "Buongiorno Bella" she said with her sexy morning voice.

"Good morning Beautiful" I kissed her head

"I want to stay like this forever" she said happily in my arms as she kissed Emma's forehead

"Me too." I told her and I felt guilty immediately "Carina I'm so sorry.."

She looked into my eyes "Why Bella?" she was so confused

"Sorry for refusing having a child before. I had no idea how good it is to have a real family. I thought having you meant I had a family but know I don't even want to stop having them." my eyes were full with tears.

This was the first time I talked about it with her" I want this bed filled with kids and I want to spend every mornings like this" the tears started to roll down my face

"Bella, don't cry" her eyes looked identical to mine "I'm just happy that you feel that way. I want you to be happy. I didn't mind waiting. I told you that I loved you more than to force you into something you weren't ready." she wipped away a few tears of her own "It was meant to be that you've found her under the stairs and that you've suggested being foster parents on the first place" she said to me with her big hazel eyes which was filled with tears

"I love you so much" I kissed her. It wasn't a passionate one it was filled with love towards our family

"Lordo" Emma said still groggily. We laughed at her as Carina kissed her forehead just like I did with the top of her head

"Buongiorno Piccola"

"Buongiorno Mamma" she said with a smile "Good morning Mommy" she looked up to me

"Alright sleepy heads we need to get ready for today. Emma how about we pack your Verde backpack and Mamma can make us breakfast huh?" I said not really playing attention to my words.
