It was going to take a miracle to work out what could be done with Tim. Even with footage that Aarohi mentioned her team had, there wasn't a whole heap that I could think of to help, especially since the least favourable cop wasn't willing to share the footage with me.

Nothing was making a lot of sense. On one hand, the police said they had sufficient evidence to arrest and charge Tim - yet they still were to do so. But on the other, Tim seemed adamant that he didn't do it. Though I had to admit that his confession of fighting with Tom didn't do him much in protecting him from the law.

Plus I had every reason to be suspicious of Aarohi. She had gone on about the footage whilst walking me to see Tim, but when I had asked to see it, she immediately rejected.

As fun as it was hanging with Nate, a few his players, and Zac too to a certain extent, the birthday moment unfortunately wasn't enough to overshadow the fact that Tim was likely to be behind bars - and we had limited options on what could be done.

"So, found anything to bail us out from prison Danny boy?" Zaine exclaimed obnoxiously and pouted. I observed quietly as the blonde lawyer ran his hands through his hair, letting out a sigh.

"He's not in jail yet you stooge." Ed exclaimed, shaking his head in disagreement.

"It's not looking good guys." Daniel exclaimed whilst looking up at us in worry. I looked up at my cousin and narrowed my eyes at him.

"How isn't it looking good Daniel?" Jordanah questioned. I stayed quiet, looking at the blonde haired lawyer tapping his pen against the table.

"Well. Tim is said to be the main suspect towards Mr Boyd's fall. No other suspect has been identified that you've told me about. Saying that, if the police have strong evidence on your friend, it's likely he could be facing a quite severe sentence." Daniel asked, as I bowed my head down and sighed.

"Okay. But just say that the police have strong evidence on Tim and the only option is jail, is there a chance to reduce his sentence? Like a plea deal or something like that?" Georgia asked, as I noticed Jordanah shoot her a cold glare.

"Seriously Georgia? He's not done anything wrong, why would he agree to pleading guilty? Gosh, this isn't some episode of Law and Order -"

"No, it isn't Jordanah. Because our lawyer is this nerd and not the babe Olivia Benson. Also, Tim didn't really commit a crime. He pushed Tom off a balcony, which is warranted if we're being honest." Zaine interjected as I turned around and looked at him with confusion.

"If your friend decides to go down a guilty plea, which it doesn't seem like he would, the sentence he is likely to receive wouldn't be a good outcome. Sure the judge could put into consideration his record up until this point and character assessments from his time in sports would put him in a somewhat good decision. Although it still wouldn't help to significantly reduce his sentence. But it's hard to give you a more definite answer because I don't have a lot of the facts and yet to see any footage to help you out." Daniel added as I let out a groan and covered my face with my hands.

"We gotta get our hands on that footage or whatever evidence the cop says she has." Ed exclaimed as I shook my head.

"Good luck with getting it off Aarohi and her cronies. I tried asking her and a few other officers but no luck unfortunately." I add, as I wondered how else we could see the evidence.

"We could steal the evidence. Or a better idea more like it. We hire a boy we know desperate to seduce Aarohi and have them get close to the point where the guy influences her to show the evidence and then we can use that to blackmail her and therefore let go off Tim." Jordanah finished explaining her grand plan as I looked over at her with my mouth slightly opened.
