Epilogue

Amal stared at the screen that had coordinates ready to activate, swallowing hard as the tears in her eyes were being held back.

She heard the footsteps of a cybertronian approach behind her and she could recognize them as Optimus. "Amalgamous...are you alright?" He asked and Amal bit her tongue.

"Optimus...you're not supposed to ask a woman that when she's clearly not okay."

"My apologizes."

Amal couldn't help but grin at his response as a few tears left her eyes when she looked up at him. Optimus gave a sad smile and the new Prime sniffled.

"I'm gonna miss here." She whispered, gazing around at the cybertronians saying goodbye to those staying on Earth and saying goodbye to their human friends.

The Cybertronians staying on Earth consisted of Ratchet, to help Jack with his new title as Prime; Bumblebee, because he about bursted into tears at the thought of leaving Raf and Spike; Arcee and Cliffjumper, because 'her partner needs her' as she smiled at Jack and Cliff is just clingy; Hound, Crosshairs, Drift, Hot Rod, Mirage, Sideswipe, Sunstreaker, Chromia, Ironhide, and Knockout were the remaining who volunteered to stay to be apart of the new task force.

"I will too." Optimus admitted, his shoulder pads slumping. Amal wiped her eyes as the two began walking over.

"Amalgamous, my 'Malgamous!" Bumblebee said dramatically as he picked her up and carefully hugged her. "I'm gonna miss you, Bee." She said and the Scout sniffled.

"You're gonna get me crying." He said before setting her down. Amal turned and began saying her goodbyes to the rest of the Cybertronians.

"Hey...sorry for everything i've said when we first found out...y'know." Arcee said and Amal grinned. "The past is the past for a reason, Arcee." Amal said as the two shook hands, the two wheeler giving a gentle smile.

Amal approached Ratchet, who glanced down at her as he was double checking the spade bridge. "Can I help you with anything, human?" He asked playfully with a smirk. Amal gave a small grin.

"Not with anything particular, alien robot."

The two chuckled before Amal hugged the doctors ped. "Thank you for everything, Ratch." The new Prime whispered and the medic hesitated before quickly activating his holoform.

Amal didn't hesitate to hug him and Ratchet was relaxed in their embrace.

"You need anything, Amalgamous Prime...I'm just a spade bridge away...anytime, any place, to talk about whatever you need to." Amal choked back a sob as he placed a gentle kiss on top of her head.

"Don't promise something you'll regret."

"I would never regret helping the cybertronian who saved my home."

Amal wiped away her tears after finally managing to say goodbye to Ratchet as she approached the platform the humans had sat most the time.

All of them were on the floor below it and turned at the sound of Amal approaching.

"It's been a honor, Amal." Spike reached his hand out and she shook it. "Keep Bumblebee and Raf in check, will ya?" Spike chuckled and half saluted.

"Will, Robert." Amal shook the two soldiers hands. "I wish the smoothest operations here." She said and the two nodded in thanks. "Thank you for the service you've done to a planet not yours." The two men grinned.

"Anything for a friend, Amalgamous."

"These operations will go smoother than the statue of liberty's skin." Amal grinned as Agent Fowler approached her and she gave him a hug.

"Thank you for what you've done for Earth, Amal. Even if it seems like they turned their back on you for so long—" The new Prime sniffled.

"—you have created one of the largest debts that this planet has to fulfill." Fowler
told her before saluting and she couldn't help but chuckled.

"See ya around, Aunt June."

"Don't 'aunt' me, it makes me feel old."

"You're as young as Ratchet, don't worry." That earned Amal a hard smack before a hug.

"Rafael..." Amal said with a smile as more tears rolled down her face. Raf smiled. "Stop crying, I can't cry with this optic yet." Amal laughed as the two embraced before she pulled away and turned to be basically tackled by Miko.

"I'm gonna miss you so much, Amal." Amal held the japanese girl tight as they both sniffled. "I'll call, don't worry. I wouldn't want you to miss out on any cybertronian drama."

Jack approached as the two girls pulled away. "Well, cous...good luck."

"I think you'll need it more than me." Jack grinned and Amal shrugged as they hugged. "Dealing with Cybertronians is better than dealing with Ratchet."

"Smack her please, June."

A hard smack echoed through the air once her and Jack pulled away.

"You know I can have you arrested for that now."

Amal slowly made her way to where the Decepticons were saying goodbye to each other. Breakdown seemed to be refusing to let go of Knockout, who didn't seem to mind.

"I'm surprised you're staying, Knockout. Red Alert and Shockwave could really use more hands on Cybertron rather than Earth." Megatronus said and the medic rolled her optics.

"Cybertronians are going to be arriving on Earth too. Ratchet will need all the help he can get. Besides, Fowler has been talking about this task force needing some Cybertronian technology to advance their tactics. Who else better than I can show them the ropes?"

The Decepticons bid her farewell, both Breakdown and Amal giving her a long hug that made the Decepticon medic almost tear up.

"Please don't make them have to call me because you two get into trouble."

"No promises, Knocks." Amal said as the two pulled away. Amal gave her and smile and Knockout returned it before the new Prime left the two sparkmates alone to have a private moment to say goodbye.

Amal walked up to where all the Cybertronians returning to Cybertron were and she looked back to the companions she was leaving, who were all smiling sadly as Ratchet activated the space bridge.

"Amalgamous."

Amal looked up and saw that both Optimus and Megatronus were looking down at her and it got her spirits up a bit seeing the two seem so peaceful finally, knowing they finally had the friendship they longed for back.

"It's time to go."

Amal looked back and saw their allies waving as the Cybertronians began to walk through the space bridge.

And she gave a gentle wave, along with Megatronus and Optimus before they finally turned their backs to them before they could change their minds and walked through the space bridge.

To a new beginning that had finally risen.

"Our races united by a history long forgotten, and a future we shall face together."
