I awoke to the sound of slow, strong, and silent footsteps. I didn't have to worry, because I knew it was Bael coming to bed. He lifted the covers slowly getting into the bed. I turned to face him, he seemed agitated. He was wearing no shirt, plaid pajama bottoms, and his hair seemed to be curly chaos. I said nothing, only just looking at him. His back was to me, but still. I didn't care. I admired the way his muscles were so defined if only I was an artist per se.His body would look so immaculate in sketch form.

"What are you doing up?" He asked me, sensing the fact that I was awake. I didn't say anything at first Instead I turned to face the other way towards the window. The curtain was pulled, so I was not able to see anything outside. I only knew that this time of the month it would most likely be a waxing crescent or a new moon. The ball took place on a full moon and it has been about 2 days. So yes it would be somewhere around there. I wasn't very good at science, in fact, half of the science teachers I have had has hated my guts. Why? I don't know.

"It's because you do not listen and because you do not express yourself. You choose only to do stupid things and that leads to you getting into some sort of complication. Which usually pulls the people who care about you into those complications and it deeply affects them too." Bael said lowly.
I didn't reply, instead I just laid there with my eyes closed accepting the truth. I did need to change that. All of this whole thing is my fault, It really is. If I didn't choose to come here and live with Xander things would be okay. I wouldn't have known about this world which existed. I would have been going to school and working. Living a normal life. I got out of bed, knowing what I had to do in order to change this. All of this. "Where are you going? Asked Bael, getting up from the bed. I didn't say anything. I just looked at him, then walked over to the chair which was in the corner of the room. Grabbing my bag. I walked to the door feeling his eyes burn into my flesh. I turned the knob. Opening the door and walking out.
The packhouse was silent, but I knew there would be some people patrolling the perimeter of the land. Alongside with the house and the hallways. I knew where I was going, kinda. Before I had left. I remember Xander saying something about a map. It was a map of the land owned by the pack. Another map was of the house. I opened my bag to see both the maps rolled up. I grabbed them both. From what I know usually, there are 7 packhouses and a small cabin of some type. Just in case an alpha or someone had to hide. There was also a great big underground connection to each packhouse, that definitely will come in handy.
I plan to live or stay here in this cabin. Though it's dangerous, I will go to work and school at night. I needed to do something so that I could get the hell out of here and pretend as though nothing had happened. As though this part of my life was just a little bump or perhaps a pause in the film. I had managed to be out of sight from the guards. Due to the fact that I took the underground route, which was about 15 minutes. Not bad at all. I looked at the map to see that I had a good amount of areas to go to. To get there at a reasonable time and safe too.
                                                                            ⭕️⭕️⭕️
The cabin was dark and dusty. It was pretty old too. Due to the fact that the light bulbs had a low orange hue to them and half of them were covered in cobwebs. The room I was in, was a small library with multiple volumes of limited edition books. I walked out of the room and into a small passageway. There were 3 other doors, the one to the right was a room.I'm guessing the guest room and the one beside it was the master. The thing is that this room and this cabin, in general, seemed familiar. It reminded me of something I saw once, probably in some movie or something. I opened the door, turning on the light. I felt as though I wasn't the only one in the cabin, but I soon brushed the feeling off. The light turned on, then suddenly started to flicker violently. Soon there were the sound footsteps. The bulb exploded. I being the idiot I was. Said the following:"Hello, is anyone there?"
